Just arrived, and I opened it to try it on. This is my first and only bee suit/jacket. I ordered the XL size. It was a little tight at the bottom, and I was not quite sure it would fit (Honestly theese kinds of things need a short and wide option, lol). I probably needed a 2XL, but this one does fit and zip. It has a bit of a strong smell, so probably want to open it and let it air a while before tending to the bees. I find that it is quite itchy around the neck, and also a little stuffy, but that may just be because I was wearing it inside with no air movement. That said, I expect having something on that helps to reduce the number of stings I get is going to be hot regardless, and I have nothing to compare it to. I would rather have had the hat style veil, like what my beehive came with, but now I have both to try and see which I like better, and if my other veil works with this vest. The zipper is kind of chunky, and doesn't want to move sometimes, this with the velcro on the veil sticking in my hair is a little annoying. Most of these things are minor annoyances, in my opinion. On a positive note, this jacket has plenty of pockets for carrying stuff, and adjustable wrist straps. Seems well made so far. I will update my review if needed after I wear it around my bees, and try it out in the summer heat.

Does the job. Love the metal zippers, Velcro, and 3 layers. Lots of pockets. You can feel the breeze if it’s windy, but if no breeze then this jacket does still get hot.The vail does lean forward, I had hoped it would have been more balanced. High quality jacket.I’m new to bee keeping.

Feel completely confident in this ultra breeze jacket. I am a woman and typically in between mens large and x-large. I went x-large. I probably could have gone for large, but this way i have plenty of room inside it for extra layers if needed. Cuffs are way too big for me, so i definitely have to use the velcro. Have gone into the hives several times with it including a cutout with our spicy Russians. No stings (unlike my partner.) Haven't worn a hat with it. The fencing veil falls nicely. Even though it is NOT lightweight, I kind of forget about the jacket, which means I'm not thinking about hot and sweaty. WIN!

I don't normally do reviews but I was so impressed with this I just had to take a minuet and let potential "future" buyers know. If you purchase this item you will not only be impressed with the product itself but the packaging it arrives in as well. And that says a lot about how much they care about their product. It shows not only the excellent workmanship but quality and value. I for one am VERY please with this and just wanted to go on record to let others know this is simply awesome.

Good quality product only thing they should do is add the loop for thumb to make gloves easier to put on

I bought an Ultra Breeze full suit when I first started beekeeping as I was somewhat nervous and it worked great. Last summer I purchased this jacket as getting in and out of the full suit became a bit of an ordeal...and somewhat overkill IMO. This jacket is nearly perfect. Easy on easy off, well ventilated, and best of all I have yet to be stung in three years of using the Ultra Breeze products despite having one hive that is particularly ornery and likes to attack my face the second I open it up, even after smoking. This product is well made and certainly worth the higher price in my experience. My only complaint is that I'd like it if they used more mesh on the head section as peripheral vision is not all that great. You've got only about 100 degrees of vision out the front. It's still OK as I'm mostly looking forward, but it's kind of a pain to have to turn your whole body to look elsewhere. I do wear a baseball cap backwards and underneath to keep it pulled back towards my face which seems to help in this regard. Small price to pay for this otherwise excellent suit. I highly recommend it.

Disclaimer: I have not worn this with my bees yet. My girls arrive at the end of April and I will update this review then. However, for anyone looking to get a first/new suit and is curious about the suit and quality, I thought I would provide some initial feedback. I order from Amazon constantly for my small, 3 acre homestead and literally experience hundreds of products each year. If there is one thing that disappoints me more than anything else, it is poorly made products. As soon as I opened this package I could tell this is VERY well made. The materials, zippers, and mesh used are of good quality. The stitching and attention to detail is just great. The placement of the velcro, to ensure you get a nice, tight, bee-free fit is very well done. Obviously a real beekeeper designed this suit and paid attention to the little things. Taken care of, the suit should last a very long time. The manufacturer notes that the veil material will not last as long as the jacket itself (as they balanced visibility with protection), therefore, replacement hoods can be purchased if and when the time comes. Why can't more companies think ahead like this? The fit is spot on for me. I got the medium, which is what I always get in my shirts and jackets. The suit is spacious enough not to hinder movement, while not so big as to be cumbersome. The jacket length is great, so as to not easily "ride-up" and expose the waist area. The elastic in the waist of the jacket is nice and strong and should do an excellent job. The hood is nice and open, with plenty of room, so you don't feel claustrophobic, and you can easily where a ball cap underneath should you so desire. Visibility is great as well.So far, I am a really big fan. I have a reminder set to come back and update this review after hiving my two sets of bees next month. More to come.UPDATE: After wearing my suit to install bees into two separate hives and visit them a few times I can say I am VERY happy with this purchase. With 85 degree temps, I stay nice and cool. As I mentioned above, the fit is excellent, the zippers and velcro working very well. I am more convinced now than ever, that this is a high quality product. Highly recommended.
