It's perfect for DJI Osmo Pocket 1 and Pocket 2. Works right out of the box. Simple and easy. Has both USB and USB C ports. The battery indicator is great. After wasting a lot of time, including their customer service, and money on Smatree power stick that does not work with Pocket 2, glad to have found this.

I bought this to use with my Zoom Q2N video camera. When using the USB-A output to connect, multiple times the battery disconnected from my camera and my camera died in the middle of the recording. I bought a USB-C to micro-USB cable to use the USB-C output and it has so far worked without fail using the USB-C output. Very frustrating that both outputs do not work properly, but at least the USB-C works as its supposed to.

Bought this as backup power for my Hero 9 and my 360 One X2. It works great at giving you extra power and is very useful in that aspect. Some other complained about the grip of it, I so far have not found any problems with that but I also did install on it the Spider Holster - Belt Holster and Elastic Wrap for Action Camera Grips. This seems to help. One thing though if your using it for the Hero 9 it will charge it while on but once you start recording it stops charging it. This is actually stated on Ulanzi's website on the product description page. A work around it to take the Hero 9 battery out and just plug the charger in and it will record no problem and have hours of battery life via the BG-2. Your battery door is open or like I did replace it with a door that has a charger opening and you can use it that way. Won't be waterproof but the BG-2 isn't waterproof so you wouldn't be using it during water sports anyway.

The ULANZI BG-2 6800mAh Power Bank Hand Grip is great for GOPRO and other small action oriented cameras. I actually prefer it size and balance wise to the bigger ULANZI BG-3, even though the ULANZI BG-3 has a silicon grip. One downside, as other reviewers have noted the included USB-C cable is junk. My GOPRO HERO9 just did not charge or draw power from the battery with this cable. Replacing the included USB-C cable with a good quality cable changed everything and my GOPRO now connects and recharges from the handle. Other than that the handle seems well made and charges quickly, but only a summer worth of use will tell the tale on reliability.

Been loving my Joby inc Gorillapod, but I needed something a lil smaller. Found this Ulanzi Handygrip BG-2 with built in 6800mAh power bank. This thing rocks. Can power your camera, lights or even your cell phone. Pretty rugged made of aluminum alloy. I paired it with my Joby Ball Head and it makes a perfect vlogging set up. You can also add a mini tripod stand using its 1/4 inch screw connector at the bottom. My camera is a Canon SL2 DSLR and works perfect with this item.

I bought two of these to go with my GoPro - I find them very convenient as they just screw on (unlike the ReFuel where you have to put the GoPro into its custom frame and then cannot use a cage). They worked fine, but one of them just stopped charging after 3 months. The charging light stays on and thus it never gets fully charged. Moreover, it never holds a charge. I must have got a bad unit. But judging by some of these other 1 and 2 star reviews, there might be a QC issue. If you get a good unit, then you will be very happy as it is really convenient. In my case, it is past the one month return window, so I just have to eat the cost.UPDATE: Turns out the cable they supply with these units is really inferior and damages easily. On a whim, I decided to change the cable to a braided one - and lo and behold, the units are working fine now and charging properly. So I have changed the star rating to 5 again. I wish the manufacturer would just supply a proper cable with this unit, else they will get complaints as the customer will think the unit is faulty (and not the cable). Happy now with these - I use them constantly for my GoPro cams and these units power right through. I also use them to charge my iPhone - added bonus.

Aluminum build feels premium in hand. Would of liked some rubber/silicone on handle for better grip. There is a USB-A output port on top side of handle that is used to connect to a device that you are looking to charge. There is a small LED red light under that port that illuminates when a charge is needed. There is no way to check current charge level like previous versions. On the exact opposite side of that port there is a USB C port used for input charging. There is a small blue LED light that illuminates under that port when charging and shuts off when fully charged. Item comes with the USB A to USB C cable so U can charge battery pack and also use same cable to charge any USB C port device. You need to have your own power brick to charge power handlegrip (battery pack). Battery pack will charge any other device needed, you just need to purchase the cable with the necessary connectors. I picked up a cable with USB A on one end and Micro/USB C/ Lightning connectors on the other end and was able to charge multiple devices at one time from the power handlegrip.6800 mAH powers a big punch of power to many hardware devices that you may need. With every revised version, they seem to continue to be able to pack in more power. There is a female 1/4” threaded port under the battery pack which allows to attach just about anything; tripod, extension pole. There is a rubber washer built in, to keep your attachments from getting loose. On the top of the battery pack there is a male 1/4” screw which can also be used to attach to an extension poles, lights, GoPro , mobile mounts; Endless connections. There is also a built in rubber washer on this end to assure the connections U make stay snug and don’t loosen. One downfall I see with the top connector is that it’s a static connector with no adjustable screw washer to control the direction of the device you are connecting prior to it being tightened fully. To better explain, I have tried many accessories and with all of them I am always trying to line up the USB A port on the power handlegrip to the same side of the camera that has the input power connector to try and use the shortest cable possible, ex .5 inch cable. Being that you cannot tighten to your desired direction, only when full length of screw is used, there are times when ports won’t be on same side and you will have to use a 1ft length cable. Doesn’t affect the usability at all, just my OCD stepping in wanting things to line up and keep as minimum as possible. Just a suggestion to add to a BG-3 model to allow user to control direction of device being mounted when tightening. You might also want to pick up some right angle USB A connector cables to keep even more minimum looking out of the power griphandle. There is no On/Off switch, it’s smart enough that when you connect into the USB A port, power starts out pulsing. Also feel as if it shuts down over X amount of time as I have left disconnected from an external piece of hardware but kept USB A cable into battery pack for days and pack did not die. This came in handy many times when adding to the middle of my current setup, Tripod, selfie stick, battery pack, then GoPro/mobile mount. Excellent for those time lapse videos where an extended amount of time is needed and power, don’t have to worry about a long cable leaving camera and going to an external battery pack which U have to find a place to lay. This also is ideal as a stand alone handle that works great with your media device. Item is a little shorter than an iPhone 7, almost 5 inches in length and 4 inches in diameter.Everyone always needs power and this battery pack (power handgrip) is a perfect approach to continue to juice devices in your daily mobile journey.
