TWAYRDIO 13ft Low Loss RG58 Coaxial Cable (NMO 3/8 Hole Mount to PL-259 Plug) for Mobile Radio Antenna
Wide Applications
NMO is a type of antenna connection.
It is the standard antenna mount for vehicle roof-top antennas.
Requires a 3/8" hole saw to install properly. If you put this mount in your vehicle then you can select from a large number of NMO antennas.
This is the cable from the receiver/transmitter to the antenna. It is typically used for mounting an antenna on the roof of a car/truck.
NMO 3/8" Through-Hole Mount
Mount for HF, VHF or UHF NMO Antennas. This requires a small (typically 3/8") hole be drilled through the surface hosting the mount, and is the best choice for an extremely rugged installation.
PL-259 (UHF Male) Plug
PL-259 (UHF Male) plug can be used for most mobile radios that use SO-239 connector as antenna interface.
Low Loss RG58A/U Coax Cable
The length of the cable is 13 feet, suitable for most vehicles (roof to interior).

Mostly positive reviews however the connection from the NMO base isn't that great. Exposed to the elements which will eventually cause corrosion issues or a break in the solder connection. I used Liquid tape to attempt to cover the coax connection on the NMO.

This a solid item, but does not have the two holes on the inner piece to make tightening easier. Care must taken when tightening the base down.

The cable is great quality, the crimp on end wasn't done very well, but I was cutting it off to run it through my firewall on my truck anyways and redid my own end.

I was concerned this wouldn’t accommodate my 3/16” thick with 3/8” hole antenna mounting brackets on a Jeep TJ.It worked great so I bought a second one for the CB mount on the other side.

this NMO mount was perfect for the job I needed it for, this was installed in the roof of a 2015 Nissan frontier and the 3/8 in hole and thin design were wonderful.This install might not have been possible with the normal 3/4in mount but this mount was easier to maneuver into position.For the price it seems to be a very good value and solved my problem of limited space for installation.
