Great addition to my kit. There is definitely a little learning curve to figuring out how this operates, but not too long to get the hang of it. Came with an SD card which is a plus. In my opinion, the night vision is quality, and I can see objects in my testing up to about 100 yards away (but can probably go further). I haven’t used the recording feature yet, but tested it out a little and seems pretty easy to use and upload. The battery life is great, with little drainage after about an hour of on and off use. I like this little NVG scope, and it will be a useful part of my kit.

HOLY COW.. I can see an easy 150 yards (in a neighborhood with lots ambient lighting) .. which is perfect for my application (HOG Management) takes a little getting used to on the button and configuration but for the price it can't be beat.Update so took this hog hunting and it was almost useless past 50 yards (No ambient lighting .. just straight darkness in an open field miles away from any lights). Also the battery goes dead in like 20 minutes, if that, when you are on the highest level of IR. Now all that being said .. I was able to bag a pretty decent hog at distance at dusk .. and it held a zero on a 308 which I thought was decent.Listen for the price it's still the lowest decent option I could find.. just know if you are hunting in pitch black conditions you will need a bigger IR light if you want to shoot past 50 yards.Unfortunately I had return the scope due to firmware failure. I understand that when you are in this price point for NV there are going to have to be some compromises but it my scope had one to many. I did a firmware update and it turned the display upside down which rendered it unusable.

While this isn’t true NV, it works great. Some scopes have a separate IR flashlight that you have to attach an and power, but this one is built in. It comes with two batteries and they seem to work well. It never hurts to keep spares if you’re going to sit all night in the woods.

Everything advertised about this scope is true. Very nice scope for the money. Images day/night are crystal clear. Gave it a one star because it has no diopter adjustment. This means that you cannot adjust to your eyes. Works fine if you don’t have to wear reading glasses. I do so, this means I have to take off my glass and put on my readers to take a shot. Not ideal when hunting day or night.

Batteries came empty, also there is no way to adjust Reticle Focus/Diopter. The ring is not working.

Let me start by saying I really wanted to like this NV scope. There is a lot to like but I’m an older guy and my eyes are not like they used to be. And that’s where all the problems begin. Because unlike conventional scopes that use lenses and allow your eyes to focus at a distance using the scope or your glasses or a diopter, this has a screen that your eyes must focus on.The screen is 2 dimensional. No matter the perspective it may display, you are having to focus on an object a few inches from your face. And that’s the problem here. This scope has no diopter to help you focus on the display screen. To me, this is a huge miss. Massive miss. Because if I can’t focus on the screen, what good is it?About the scope in other matters. Size is great. Weight is acceptable. Operation is decent. The picture quality is good. (If I hold it far enough to focus I can see a clear picture and a clear crosshair.) The NV seems to be decent and the illuminator is good as well. It has some useful features but also has some missing features.Of course the biggest is the absence of a diopter. I wish it had Bluetooth or WiFi to connect a cell phone to. That would solve some issues too.So the bottom line is this. If this scope had a diopter- it would easily be a 4 or 5 star. If you don’t need a diopter you may love it. But the lack of being able to focus on it is too much to overcome. So I wrestled with 2 or 3 but settled on 2 because even though the scope has many cool features, it is all useless to me without clarity.

This scope is amazing. I own the first gen as well and this is definitely a step up. Easy to install and zero. Very crisp picture and holds zero well. For the money this is the best night vision scope out there for me for coyote hunting. In my area the farthest I can see predators is 150 yards or closer and I can take anything within that range easily at night with this beast.
