Tips:
1. After removing your old brake light, please use some alcohol to clean the gasket area and lip on the light. Then attach to the light.
2. Please note that the white lights on the two sides are not reverse lights. They are CARGO LIGHTS. They are controlled by your interior light switch.

I purchased this to fix up a cracked light on my grandfather's 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500. It fits exactly like it's supposed to and is a simple plug and play replacement. However, I don't remember ordering the version that had the chevron design for the rear light. That's 95% likely to be my bad, however I actually wanted one that was just a plain red light.That aside, the light works perfectly, and the waterproofing it comes with seems adequate if installed correctly. I have no complaints with it so far.

This light assembly was easy to swap out my old one for 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. The LED's for the cargo light really lights up the area and is a welcome upgrade from the stock lights. The high mount stop lamp looks great, as well.

I just bought a truck to pull an enclosed work trailer, the third brake light was broken, I replaced it with this one and it is really a nice light, the cargo lights are very bright and the stop light looks good when lit as well.
