These are great wish Traxxas would have made these small servos with the metal ones to begin with. They are a little tricky to install but are so worth it. The plastic ones that came in the truck stripped out within the first month I owned the truck and much cheaper upgrade getting the metal gears than getting a servo with metal gears

Traxxas are fools to keep making the trx4m with plastic servo gears. They fail, when not if.Tempted to knock off stars for that decision.. but the gears installed fine. The metal is a little louder than the plastic was.

This is a great fix for the plastic gears. Would recommend this as a first upgrade if you don’t want to buy a new servo

These gears are for the 2065r servo for the trx4m. Unfortunately the stock gears are not only extremely small but plastic. You can't repurchase plastic gears and can only buy these which run 20 bucks. Plastic gears are GUARANTEED TO BREAK. so these are your only option unless you buy a new servo. I recommend 3rd party servos as they can be cheaper than a new traxxas servo and come with all metal gears
