Screw heads won’t seat in chamfer. This caused the screw to snag the axle housing. Had to reuse the original screws. Gears are VERY noisy. Saved the stock parts because I feel like I will need them soon.

I was worried that buying this would be a cheap out, because the stock under drive for traxxas is $40. I should have never worried. This has seen about 30-35 hours of straight hard rock crawling. I have the over drive in the front as well, so my rear is dragging. Gear is quiet and strong. No issues. One guy talked about shimming because it was noisy, don’t let that worry you. I put mine in with no shim and was perfectly silent. I would definitely buy these over the traxxas gears.

Bought these to give a little underdrive to my trx did exactly that work well seem to mesh good super smooth.

For those with Yeah Racing axle housings these are not direct drop in. Apparently the YR housings are a teensy bit smaller around the ring gear. I tested in the stock housing and it fit fine, but for those with metal axle housings just be aware. Nothing a dremel and half an hour can't fix. Works great otherwise and frankly, I'd have bought them even if I knew ahead of time I'd be shaving them down.

Very loud until I shimmed the pinion gear and the drivers side of the rig gear. Now it's dead silent and super smooth. The 10% Overdrive is helping my TRX4 pull itself up and over obstacles instead of tipping over backwards.
