While I do like that HR makes a 9T pinion with a 5mm bore, it's not very useful. The reason is that, if a motor has a 5mm shaft, that shaft is going to be pretty long in the first place. This gear fits on the end of the shaft, making it even longer. I cut over half the shaft off my motor AND even added a second motor plate as a spacer and I still couldn't get the pinon far enough away from the spur gear to get a good mesh. I ended up ordering the 11T pinion instead because it's the smallest gear that will fit over a 5mm shaft completely.
