Kept this little gem in my small shoulder bag when I was a volunteer giving tours at the zoo. I was able to use the water fountains and bottle stations with ease, shake it out, put the cover back on, toss it back in my bag, and go about my day. Absolutely got my money's worth using it weekly throughout the hottest months. Saved on bottles and is a compact solution and great alternative to carrying around a water bottle in a place where water is readily available at fountains and the like.Not sure I'd throw it in my bag and risk the other belongings therein if I had used it to hold a liquid that could stain things; but I also never tried, so perhaps another reviewer will pipe in on that.

The description should be more of the collapsible part of the cup, as I thought it was a hard plastic. Other than that all Quality so far is great.

This collapsible cup is great for travelers. It's convenient, practical, and a traveler's great companion. The cup can accommodate hot or cold liquids.There are three items included: the cup, the lid and detachable sip/straw cover.

I decided to leave this out of my daypack on a 4-day hike because it didn’t seem worth the weight. It’s not super heavy, but going with a bladder only worked out fine.
