We've done a lot of these sun catcher projects from different vendors but this one was my favorite. The colors are great (and glittery). I liked the little squeeze bottle better than the paint pots of other kits. I bought 2 of these kits for a group activity and it was great. They all turned out cute.

I remember when these were only available with a cheap paint brush as small paint buckets, altho those are still available I saw these and had to try them!! I mean…let my kids try them! Heck with it! It was more for me!! And I loved it! (So did the kids) it was great for stress relief after a long day! Love it and highly recommend!

Arrived with the shipping label glued directly to the product box (no outer box), which is great (no extra wasted box) unless you're planning to give this as a gift. The colors are great, very sparkly, and the dispensers are easy to handle even for small children (age 4 or so). The ready-to-color sun-catchers are cute and the dividing lines are high enough to prevent spillover. The text on the box is misleading, though: There are only 10 suction cups for a total of 12 suncatchers. (The picture on the box correctly shows 10, it's just the text that is misleading.) It would be better if there were 12. All in all, the kids loved these crafts, could use them without much supervision, and were happy with their final products. Great mini-activity for a birthday party.

My kids absolutely loved this. I have a toddler and a 6 year old. I often get them little paint sets, usually on different shaped blocks. But those require a water cup and paper towels and all that. This was a super easy set up and kept them busy, and it’s just fun to do. Clean up was really quick, the paint got everywhere but easily came out. The only things I will say- make sure you don’t use black on the sun catchers. It’s not glittery or translucent, it’s meant for creating this other thing. (I found that the directions explained this but I didn’t read it until after….) also, the “love” sun catcher is sort of silly because the side that is raised (where you would paint between the outlines) is the correct way to view it. My toddler painted that one and went over the outlines which wasn’t an issue with the other figures because you just flip it around before hanging and you still see the outline. Obviously you can’t do that for the word because it’ll be flipped around. I wish they had more variations of this exact brand because I liked this one best but don’t want to keep doing the same sun catchers over and over. I will be getting this set for my nieces and nephews to do because it’s that’s great.

My niece enjoyed making these, and wanted to make them all in one go and had to spread them out to make it last longer. This may be the case for all of these kits, but it didn't take long after hanging in the window for the sun to bleach the paint. They're effectively clear with glitter now. Just keep that in mind in terms of longevity of this product. Maybe there is a UV coating you can paint on once done that would help these stand up to the sun?
