Recommended Bulbs
This recessed light trim can be used with PAR30, PAR38, BR30, BR40 and same size halogen, incandescent and LED light bulbs and 6-inch standard recessed cans and ceiling lighting fixtures. Please measure the bulb to ensure the bulb can be installed into the trim

Had white original to the house. Bought them and installed all through the house in less than 30 minutes (Unscrew bulb, pull original straight down, unclip two sides, clip in new one, push up, screw back in the bulb). Looks awesome. All I needed was a latter.

I bought these to replace the builder grade ones that I had in my kitchen. I feel they were a fairly cheap investment.

Even though I had to return this, I did love the quality and the color. It just didn't match my vision I had to match the kitchen style. So I had to order the white one instead to blend well with my entire apartment. If my apartment had different color/tone that is darker, I would definitely buy this again.

I recently remodeled a ceiling overhang with recessed halo lights. It was just sheet rock and I wanted a classier look so I planed a bunch of old cedar planks, sanded and stained them. But the old recessed lights had that yucky off-white brittle plastic. So I upgraded the recessed lighting trim with these. I think they look great and it really complimented my hard work to make something a little nicer in my home. Happy customer.

I really like these pot light covers. They are perfectly fit for my kitchen. They do look more brushed stainless steel than brushed nickel but in my case they perfectly matched color with everything else in the kitchen.

These Torchstar recessed can light trims are super nice! I had the boring old off-white ones they were built with the house--yuck!! These add such a nice change from the off-white ceilings to the bronze can trims. They were very easy to install. I am super pleased and I love the new look in my kitchen and in the hallway!

The edges are sharp so wear gloves or be extra careful. I put in 5 of these and ended up with about 4 little cuts on my fingers and hands.For anyone wondering, these WILL work with the Commercial Electric cans. While the cans don't have the little holes that other cans do, they DO have a couple little holes up in the top, on either side of where the bulb screws in, and the spring's hooks on these trim pieces will hold onto those holes just fine.I'm still depressed that cheap stamped metal costs this much, but what can I do? They work fine and look fine. Nothing really special.

Quality seems good. Was looking for the type that has the wire spring wings, but they seem hard to find. Would have had to drill holes for the connector springs, if they had fit. I installed what I thought were 16 HALO standard 6 inch pots. They turn out to be 5.5 inches and these do not fit. They really are 6 inches, I thought my pots at 5.5 inches was like a 2 x 4, (not actually) The drawing has all the dimensions that don't matter, they leave out the size of the cone at the bottom. Should confirm that it is 6 inches since HALO sells 6 inch pots that are really 5.5 inches.
