These work great. The purpose of me ordering that style was to brew tea without grounds. They work exactly as I hoped that they would.

I've purchased multiples of these for myself, friends and family. Easy to use, easy to clean. Holds up to repeated use with minimal care. Highly recommend.

I love this infuser! I have had several other PermaBrew infusers in the past and I typically use them for brewing tea. They have lasted me for years and I have not had the "clogging" issue others refer to.

Only was able to use once. The clasp hardly held the one time now it doesn't hold at all.

This is by FAR my very favorite tea infuser I've ever found, and I've tried dozens. The fine weave in the mesh makes it so that none of the tea leaves escape into your cup, and the size is perfect for a one-person serving. Easy to use, and easy to clean, this is definitely a staple in my tea-loving household.

Tops PermaBrew Tea Bag Infuser. I like it, relatively easy to place tea leaves in and easy to empty. Large enough to allow one to vary strength of tea, but fits nicely into cup and handle is long enough to just protrude over top of 4-1/2" tall cup. It does take about 20-30 seconds to release air bubbles to allow it to stay submerged with out holding, but makes a great cup of tea.

I had ordered a tea infuser before, and although it worked well for the most part, small loose leaves would always seep out. I decided to try this inexpensive infuser since it was the perfect size for an individual cup (the diameter is about 2") and made with mesh. What do you know, it works great! No seeping, either!I love this, and might buy another! It's easy to use, clean, AND it looks like a nautical ship wheel! How fitting.

Not much to this, but I was worried about durability: Going on a few months now, with multiple vigorous brewings per day, and it looks like new. Fill it with loose tea, drop it in a large plastic cup, nuke the whole shebang for 4-5 minutes, forget about it, remember it hours later... et voila: Iced tea! It does a pretty reliable job of containing even small leaves, and the two pieces are permanently attached, so there's no risk of "Lost Part Of My Kitchen Gadget; Now It's Useless" syndrome. Yeah, it's "one more thing to clean / clutter your kitchen," but tea bags just seem so wasteful, in addition to their greater expense. If I wanted to nitpick, it feels cheap (it IS cheap, after all), is utterly utilitarian-ugly, and it floats. I want to think that it'd be more effective if it sat at the bottom of the cup rather than floating on top... but the tea seems to brew just the same.Grab one of these and you can take advantage of the -ridiculously- cheaper loose teas at asian markets, or treat yourself to some high end specialty brew, or even grow your own (Free tip: Mint, left out to dry for a few days then stored in a sealed container, works nicely).
