Didn't use it for a couple of months and came back to rust on the lid clasps. Poor quality material, went in the garbage.

I thought I'd found the perfect tea infuser. Used it gently every day for two, three weeks - and then the rim that attaches the basket to the lid came off. No way to put it back on since it needs to be food safe. What a waste.

These squeezers work very well. No more burning my fingers. I like to holes that ensure every bit of yumminess squeezes through. I do wish they were a tiny bit thicker as they do bend slightly when squeezing tightly.

The lid's a bit - just a wee bit - tricky to manipulate, but that's my only minor quibble. Holds enough loose tea for a good cuppa and that's all one can ask. Might even hold a pot's worth, depending...

After buying several packages of Loose Leaf Tea on vacation, I needed a way steep it. I read tons of reviews on various models, then came across this. I felt this would be easier to use than the ball types.Pros: easy to use, the lid prevents anything coming out into the cup of water.Cons: I wish it also came with a small push-down cap to use as a plunger and strain the leaves after steepingI definitely recommend it.

I am so glad I bought this. I was really tired of fragile wire tea strainers that eventually fall apart and are much harder to clean properly. This strainer is sturdy and cov mes apart by twisting the top half off. I can easily get my rooibos out.It steeps well. I had been concerned about the size of the holes because of a coffee strainer I tried using for tea, but the tea infused just fine without letting any leaves out (rooibos is pretty fine).I was also concerned that the chain might get caught in the dishwasher, so I used the hook at the end (which is pliable and can be bent to adjust) to hook up the chain and keep it compact. It worked really well and was still attached when I removed the strainer from the dishwasher. I had to take a couple of leftover tea leaves out after using the dishwasher, but nothing major and they came out easily.Overall, a very good purchase that should last for years.Update: I bought a second one for the office! Love this design.

Holy crap this works so amazingly well. I bought so much loose tea and tried a bunch of other tea infusers but the holes were always too big (that's what she said). So I went for this bad boy and he came in like a wrecking ball and took down my walls. Simple design and easy to clean, bonus that you can shove it in the dishwasher, it worked for all my fine ass tea leaves and held onto my cup like a boss. 11/10 great product.

I specifically searched for a tea infuser that could hold loose leaf tea without dealing with all the floating bits. I found this one and ordered it right away. I am not at all disappointed. I love it! I am able to put tea in it, about half way at most, and steep. By the time it finishes steeping the infuser is full as the tea expanded and no loose floating specks and pieces in my cup. I am so happy with this one and have been using it daily, multiple cups per day. It is very easy to clean. I set the hook that is at the end of the chain on the edge of my cup to keep it from going into the cup. I had to bend it open a bit to fit on one of the thicker cup rims, and it did just fine. This one is fantastic for making a great cup of tea.
