Picture shows a 4 inch, and priced similar to other 4 inch, then it's a 3 inch. The jaw pads also don't fit and are basically useless since they're made for a 4 inch.

I bought this particular vise because it came with the magnetic jaw liners. The liners do not fit well. The casting is crude and painfully sharp in places. The usable jaw throat depth is only 3/4” (.750) not .870 as described. Look where they’re measuring it from on the photo. The jaw liners are 1.0” on the inside, so there’s a quarter (1/4”) inch at the top of the jaw liner that isn’t supported, which I’d call a mismatch. The threads on the vise screw are extremely loose, though I suppose this doesn’t matter when the jaws are clamped shut on something, except that it indicates poor machining of the casting or a poor match with the screw. The jaws fit together well enough. Anybody with a couple files can improve the roughness of the casting.I suppose you need to consider that you get what you pay for and you didn’t pay much for this. Also, I suppose for a vise of this size, the aesthetics of the casting and machining really make no difference if all you want to do with it is just clamp small objects for drilling. Still, I wouldn’t buy this again nor recommend it to others.

This drill press functions like it's supposed to, but the bottom plate only has 1 screw, and that was overtightened because the plate was bent. It is supposed to have 2 screws like the picture shows. How stupid and careless! Where's the screw?There is also a lot of flash from forging inside the oval mounting holes, and extra metal around the edges of clamps, top and bottom. A Lot of the edges are pretty sharp from this flash metal, and you could cut your skin on it if you're not careful. It is very dirty too. It just is not "cleaned up" - it could use a wash, but also those edges should have been softened.The rubber cushions do not really fit the clamps either - I mean, they go on, sure - but they are high, and when applying more pressure with something that is not pushed all the way down to surface of the drill press, the cushions pop up and out.What's up with this stuff from Amazon? It's always missing parts, used, sold as new but dirty. The only reason i use Amazon is because people keep giving me gift cards. Otherwise, i would just buy what I need from a local store.
