This toilet safety rail set arrived quickly and very well packaged with no damage or missing pieces. First thing I noticed was how heavy the product packaging box was for the actual size of the pieces, but that speaks to the quality of the pieces used as they are heavy duty. Everything comes nicely organized in the box; properly wrapped and secured. You get all the assembly hardware as well as a double sided page of instructions photo and written that are easy to follow. Once you get the arms attached to the base you simply remove the toilet seat, place the base directly on the toilet and reattach the toilet seat which will in turn hold this in place. My only real pet peeve is that you do need to fully remove the base (and in turn your toilet seat) in order to properly clean UNDER the metal base, but that isn’t a big issue just a little inconvenience. The handrail setup looks clean and as though it was always attached, and the handrails flip up/down smoothly. I love the grippy texture for the handrails so even if your hands are wet you aren’t going to slip or slide when trying to get up. The handrails themselves are very easy to wipe down and keep clean which is ideal given its in the bathroom. I got this to set up for my MIL who is going to be staying with us for a while after her upcoming surgery. She is by no means heavy, but I am not a small guy and I am able to use the handrails without any kind of stressing/warping/give. Compared to some of the other styles we have tried in the past, I do prefer this style far more as far as safety and aesthetically. The price point for this is a little bit higher than other identical products (less than $10), and it is upwards of double when compared to some of the cheapy stand alone options. Overall, if you’re looking for a long term safety solution for you or a friend/family member who struggles with getting up or sitting down on the toilet then this is by far the best option that can work in any sized bathroom without taking up floor space and can provide stable support while still looking like it is meant to be there. Would recommend.

I am a firm believer in bathroom safety in general. I also believe this is a very good precautionary item for me to have in my bathroom, on my toilet. It is extremely sturdy, supporting 560 pounds! It is very easy to install and use! I am a mega fan of this particular item, and I can give it a very hearty recommendation!
