I order four different brands of the toilet seats rail for installed in my house and my sister’s house for my mom. This probably is the least satisfying one. Basically function and it did serve the purpose. Installation is simple, all parts are good quality. However, comparing what I had …. This one need some improvement or perhaps it will fit others requirement but just not from my house. My issues are….1: It’s too wide for my mom. And the width is not adjustable. By opening arm so wide when using it, …it’s not easy to keep her strength to lift her self up. You know if you keep your arm closer to your body, the more balance support strength you get.2: The bigger foot pad shore be on all four legs or at least is on the back so it’s can be more stable. But this one the front legs are smaller foot pads. Not the suitable for my situation… but it may still work for your family.

Many individuals need a raised toilet rail for any number of reasons. Some need them after surgery, but some simply need them on a daily basis as they age. I wanted this toilet safety rail for someone who will need it do to age-related issues. I was easily able to fully assemble the unit. I’ve seen enough of these seats to know what is worth investing in and what’s not. The only thing I’d recommend is that you are shopping for a heavy individual, look for something sturdier. They do have specialized railings that are even heavier than this. That being said, I really was into the assembly process. Not that I enjoy it because I don’t. This one was actually very easy, something I was into. All of the parts are numbered, which I certainly appreciated. I didn’t even need a single tool. Assembly instructions are in a small manual-like brochure with photographic visuals. No real skills needed here save a bit of patience. All the components are solid and once it was assembled, I only needed to adjust for height and width. The price is certainly equitable at just under $70.

The Careboda Toilet Safety Frame Rails have been an incredible addition to my bathroom, providing my elderly mother with the support and independence she needs. This adjustable, stand-alone frame is designed specifically for seniors and individuals with mobility challenges, making it easier and safer to sit down and stand up from the toilet. What I love most about this toilet frame is its adjustability. It fits most toilet seats, and you can easily adjust the height to suit different needs, ensuring a comfortable experience for anyone. The removable folding handrails are convenient, allowing for easy storage when not in use or for cleaning purposes. The non-slip feet are another standout feature, ensuring that the frame stays securely in place during use. This gives me peace of mind knowing that the frame won’t shift or wobble, even when wet. The 400 lb. weight capacity is also impressive, providing extra stability and durability, making it a perfect choice for heavier individuals. The frame is easy to assemble, and the removable handrails provide additional flexibility for those who may not need constant support. My mother now feels much more confident using the bathroom, and I no longer worry about her falling or straining while trying to get up.In summary, the Careboda Toilet Safety Frame Rails are a fantastic investment for anyone looking to provide extra safety and independence for elderly or disabled loved ones. It’s a sturdy, adjustable, and easy-to-use solution that makes a huge difference in daily life.

This frame is good. It's stable and really adjustable. The adjustments hold it place well and the whole thing feels stable. When exerting force on it to get up or lower, it was very stable.

I've ordered these toilet rails in the past, and they all have their different prod and cons. This is the kind that has nothing to keep it in place, other than the suction feet. (Other style models use security bars or clamps on the commode part).I like that this has a high weight limit. I always subtract a good 50-75 off the claimed upper limit, which in this case is 400 pounds, so I would think this is good for someone up to 325 or 350 pounds. At that weight, however, they would probably require something with greater stability. The assembly for this product was easy; I've done it before, and although some models are easier than others, this was quite simple. We have 14"x14" tile floors with a semi-smooth surface. meaning, there are little tiny embedded grains in the tile (under the finish) and occasional undulations and little crevices here and there. Our floor tiles are not slick. I've found the suction works - for a while. However, that's okay; let me explain why.Where our toilet sits is a U-shape area, a small cubby, surrounded by 3 walls. Basically enclosed on 3 sides, the fourth side is where you enter. So if the toilet rail is a little wobbly and becomes unsteady, a person would only tip into the wall: left, right, backwards. Going forwards is the door, and not far enough to fall flat on the floor. That said, I'm not sure a person ordering one of these rails will think it through this far and try to determine what type works best for them.

This is the second "folding" toilet rail I've ordered. The first was a total dud, and only "folded up" after being half disassembled. This one is the real deal! You just remove the 2 twisting knobs that lock the arms in place, and it folds easy-peasy. They even give you a spare third knob in case you lose one. I only need this rail when my Mom comes to visit, so I don't want it on my toilet all the time. This is perfect for me. If you have a similar situation, and need a rail only for occasional use, this one is ideal. However, it's sturdy enough for routine use and I would feel safe putting it in my Mom's house. We have tested ones that go across the front of the toilet, and I have to say I much prefer these types that cross in the back. It's far less awkward not having a bar right behind your knees.

Thought that the handles were going to be stiff and rubberized, but they're actually made of a comfortable foam. It's not too thick either, so there's a good amount of force transfer on the handles. The stability on the feet was also much better than I expected. Thank goodness the back feet are wider too because you end up putting a lot more weight on them when sitting down. Not sure whether the suction cups will stick to wood or cement, but they just barely hold to laminate. It needs to be clean too.As for assembly, it was a piece of cake, but I really wish they had put the height adjusting pins higher up on the legs. Once you set them, the only comfortable way to change them is to lay the frame sideways or upside-down. There's really no point to stoop all the way down to do it. And as for folding...yeah no. The only thing you can do is separate the back support, remove the star knobs and bolts, and fold each half forwards to basically sit flush with the handles. The entire thing doesn't fold down because there literally are no joints. That would just create weak spots along the frame. And in terms of weight capacity...the pics say 300 lbs but the description says 400 lbs, so I'm really not sure which it is. And that's quite a big discrepancy.Fortunately the frame itself is built extremely well and it's even lighter in weight than I had anticipated. So if you ever need to move it, it's not a drag to carry. In fact, the best way for me to do it after separating the back pieces and folding them over was to pull the handles forward so that the legs were parallel to the ground and the folded sections hanging DOWN. That way you can hold a support in each hand without having to worry about the back sections folding out and striking the ground.Overall though, despite a few very minor inconveniences, the performance and build are actually really good. However, if you're planning on using it on a textured or gritty floor, it might be prudent to adhere or mount some kind of smooth plastic pads underneath where the suction pads will go. The rubberized pad material is pretty good at preventing slipping, but it's always better to be safe than sorry. Also would've liked to have seen handles that are angled slightly forwards, since it's actually a more ergonomic position both when sitting down and standing up. I tried to lower the front legs by a single hole, but the back feet weren't having it. lol So they definitely need to be in-line, with a perfectly horizontal handle position. I guess it is what it is. It's still a good frame that provides ample support; but vigilance is always warranted when looking for the best price. 4.5/5 stars overall.

This toilet safety rail system is easy to assemble, easy to position and easy to use.The unit is made up with a series of steel pipes, that interlock well. When completed - which is an easy process - it can support up to 300 pounds. That's what the included manual states - 300 pounds - so that's the number I will go by.It has adjustments to how wide you want or need the support rail to be, as well as an adjustable height. I feel that some people will like the bars higher, and other lower. Regardless, the bars can be set to several different locations so the user can find the best possible position, for help. The side arms do fold in to the back of the unit, but that does require removal of the large, plastic nut located at the back. There is one on each side, and by taking that bolt out, both sides will easily fold in. It is easy to do, but it does take an extra minuted or two. There are two large suction cup feel on the back legs, and these really hold onto a tile floor. In fact, to break that suction, like another reviewer, we slide the suction cups over a grout line in the tile, to break the seal. Works great! The front two feet do not have suction cups, but still provide and excellent contact surface with a tile floor.Bottom Line - For anyone needing some assistance with sitting down or getting up from a toilet, this device is an excellent choice! Solid, light weight, and does not need to be removed for those who do not require assistance. The toilet seat can be raised and lowered like normal.

I had to have hip replacement surgery which makes it difficult to get on and off the toilet during recovery. This is well made, easy to assemble and durable. It fits around almost any toilet and is both height and width adjustable for just about any size person. I highly recommend this to anyone that has had or is going to have hip, knee or ankle surgery.

Very easy to put together. Issue with promotional material and actual instructions. Promotional say 400 pound capacity and manual says 300 pound capacity. Big difference guys. The tubes slide into each other and are reasonably smooth, but can stick a bit. Just wiggle a bit. Each leg assembly is number keyed so you get front and back okay. The number for each leg assembly should all be on the same side. When I do the leg height adjustment I rotate the tube slightly to one side so that the pins don't keep popping into each hole until I get the right height. There are 4 black rubber plugs that are protecting the arms base holes. Pop those out so you can put in the leg assemblies. The back legs have a suction cup that sticks very well to the floor. There are little tabs you can pull to release the suction. I find it hard to bend over so what I do is slide the backside legs to a grout line and that breaks the suction. Having my arms as a help to stand and lower puts less stress on my legs and knees. It is light weight so you can move to different locations. I wouldn't want to do that all the time, so I would look at getting more units. Would I buy this again? Yes.

Item arrived nicely protected in thick carboard carton, with plenty of protection for the painted metal pieces. Assembly was a snap with all pieces numbered so that all you have to do is match up the numbered pieces with each other.I got this to replace a Medline rail that was attached to the bidet seat on my toilet. I attached photos to show why this free-standing unit was the better solution. The Medline caused the bracket that holds the bidet seat in place to sit forward, so that the rim of the bowl is actually exposed at the front of the toilet (first 2 photos). I needed a rail that wouldn't do that and this one was the perfect solution and for my mom's needs, it is.I do have one warning, however, for those who need the rails to sit higher or lower on their bidet seat. For me, there was only one height adjustment that would clear the back of my bidet seat, while not obstructing access to the flush handle. Luckily, the height that does both those things while still providing my mom with the right height and support, synced up. But that's only in my case. If you're looking for something to stand higher or lower and you have a bidet seat, this might not work for you. Honestly, there is only one way to find out and that's to just give it a try. Because of this, I knocked off one star. For us, though, it's a five.
