The color key chart did not match the thread numbering holder, so started project with wrong color on deer. I took pictures so you could see. So check the numbering thread guide with the color key chart, make sure right color before you begin.

I was disappointed with the quality of the yarn; it kept tangling up on me. I got some replacement yarn and it still came out beautiful.

It’s an adorable baby quilt and I couldn’t wait to start embroidering it, but I didn’t see instructions warning against washing before embroidering. SURPRISE! I washed it in cold and the entire pattern washed off! Now I have a blank quilt! Rookie mistake, I know, but had the instructions stated the you shouldn’t prewash, I wouldn’t have!
