It would be optimal if they created a salad plate sized dish.

This review is about the smallest (4-1/2-inch) pan only. It holds exactly one cup of water, and that's to the very top edge. I used mine to cook an egg on my gas stove. Wow, the titanium heats up extremely fast! I'm used to steel pans taking a while to heat up--this one was hot enough to start cooking the egg in less than 10 seconds. A more skilled cook than me can probably poach an egg or make a McMuffin egg. Separately, I got one full cup of water to boil in about 90 seconds.I had originally expected cooking would be somewhat hazardous due to lack of a handle. However, the titanium dissipates (and conducts) its heat so fast that I was able to handle it with my bare hands in short order. Titanium is the same material Jetboil and similar products use.I like this pan. I also have the Tiandlife alcohol stove--this pan is a good match for that as an ultra-light and ultra-compact emergency cooking system. Elbow grease required for cleanup!

For product review I only received the 4.56 inch dish, which is often sold as the smallest piece in a larger three or four piece set. In terms of craftsmanship it is well made, a single piece with a matte finish and a smooth ridged lip. It weighs in at 36 g/1.3 oz. It's darker than my other titanium pieces, and there appears to be something in the finish that resists fingerprints. (I have a titanium teapot that gets marked up pretty easily)But the 4.56 inch piece is really small, and arguably useless for an ultralight hiker. It might keep a muffin or an apple or a couple of cookies out of the dirt, but isn't exactly essential for someone who obsesses over every ounce of pack weight.Short story: if the larger pieces in this set are made with the same care and quality as the single, small piece that I received you'll get a lot of mileage out of them. But I'm not sure why the small piece exists in the first place.

I have been building an outdoor/camping kit for a while and saw this, so I figured I’d try it out. I’m a fan of all things Titanium and was looking forward to getting this. I made the mistake of overlooking the sizing of this as its only just over 4 inches. Having small lightweight items for backpacking and camping is important but this is not something that’s very usable for me, everyone has different needs and may work for you. I just don’t see the practicality. I think its a cool item because of the material its made from but it’s not something I find useful, maybe a soap dish or something but for eating and cooking, I just don’t find it for me.
