Worked fine on our 2013 to the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. We just ignore the text messages about adding data, and used our phones for automobile navigation nearly every day. This specific card is highly recommended, but other plans from the same company can limit non-UK data data and other elements, so read the fine print carefully.

I used this sim card when i visited Rome for 10 days in July. It worked well most of the time just not in the outskirts of Rome survive was spotty. That is to be expected in Italy. This card works best with an unlocked phone not one that comes with a a cellphone service plan!The only problem was you have to pay for the whole month. By the end of the trip I didn’t use much of the Data and I couldn’t really give it to anyone that could use it unfortunately. Worked great when i needed to navigate the city with gps !

Installed the sim on my phone as it say on package in US prior to leave the country and it worked, so I Removed and went back to my network. When arrived abroad , installed the sim back in , and it worked for 3 hrs until quit. I recognize signal but it doesn't work, it ask to register, and we can't register an three account without a phone number. Tried an online chat with three , which they didnt want to help. Waste of money, don't buy this sim card. I will request a return of my money.

I've purchased this SIM most recently for a three week trip to Peru in March/April (and in 2019 for a trip to Germany and France.) I've found them to be an excellent, economical solution. This past trip it's worked seamlessly with the networks in Lima, Cusco, and in smaller towns such as Chincha and Ollantaytambo.It's not perfect but the good far outweighs any issues. I purchased from TravSIM because unlike another retailer, it's my understanding that if needed I can purchase additional data via their website using a US credit card (by contrast the UK Three site only allows payment in British pounds.) The minor downside to purchasing through TravSIM is that activation took a few hours, about four hours, as I recall (I think they advise it may take up to 24 hours). Also, when activating on their website (which I did in the US), you need to state both the start and end date yourself. They appear to be on German time so if, for example, you specify activating 11 p.m. the same day, the site advises that you can't activate for a date that has already passed.Once activated, I tried the SIM in the US and downloaded the UK Three Pay as You Go app (I'm using an Android 11 phone.) It takes a few minutes to find the signal. There have been comments here stating you won't receive the full data if it's not being used in the UK. This was not my experience. The app showed the whole 25 GB as available. (However, when my wife tried using the app on her phone, it never showed the available data. But she had no trouble using the data.) Initially, I'd emailed TravSIM about how much data I'd actually receive, and they never comprehended my concern and eventually stopped responding.Having a functional phone is a necessity for me, as there are matters I need to stay on top of back home in the US. I believe the included minutes are not available for use outside the UK, but with the included data, I used Google Voice to make/receive free calls/texts from the US, Skype prepaid to make local calls in Peru and WhatsApp for additional communication (LATAM Airlines uses it for communication, for example.)Overall, this SIM has repeatedly served my needs very well.

My wife and I landed in the UK, we had already registered everything a few days before, and the Sim cards were effectively useless. We attempted to get it resolved with 3 mobile support, but they were also very unhelpful. Amazon was also not really able to assist, they did offer a refund, but they were unable to assist past that point. So we ended up having to pay for roaming charges in the UK so we could at least let our family know we had landed safe. Eventually, with no updates, one of the Sim cards started working, to little, to late. I will not be using 3 again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. If you are looking for a local Sim, PLEASE buy it when you arrive. They have vending machines in the airport and support readily available.

It needs to activate using the website provided ahead of time. I bought 3 cards (buy one for first trip and buy 2 more for my second trip)1st card: activate a day before flight. Get there, Iceland, they got 25$ for unlimited vs this one 25GB (promotion give me total 50GB). I do a full grand circle and have internet all the way. Better signal vs the local sim card I get at the airport. Still work on first few day of my 2nd trip.2nd card: activate at use. Use about 100MB , it has no more data. I have to buy a local sim, but then plug it back in few days after, and it works again3rd card: activate a night before use, it works.They work in Iceland (50GB), in EU-Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Czech, Hungary (there is a message said data fairness something and it will be limit to 12GB each time I arrive a new country or go back to original. Have not exceed so I don't know if each country total data usage will be reset it still count toward that 12GB limit. I don't know if I went out the border and come back and it will be reset data count. But, I have to manually select Tmobil CZ network to get 4G. The default network O2 CZ will only limit at 3G

Item is a throw away. I had previously purchased this sim card and it worked great. Bought this one and it is sold by new provider. You have to go on a site to activate the card. Sometimes that web page is not accessible. When i finally got access. The site would not recognize the sim card. Tech support thru chat confirmed they cant find my sim number. They ask for proof of invoice , a photo. Sending a photo crashes and ends the chat (twice). Total waste of money. I get bars but no data. Using in the US
