It's expensive stuff. You don't get a lot for the price. But it's totally worth it if you don't plan on changing your CPU often. Thermals are great even with a suboptimal cooler for my case. Included accessories are more than enough for perfect applications every time.

When I want to ensure my CPU cooler is performing optimally, Thermal Grizzly is who I typically go to. Spreads really well and thermal conductivity is excellent. There's cheaper pastes out there that will "get the job done", but if you're after something to keep things cool as possible, this is who you'll want to go with.

Had to use this when I replaced the heatsink and fan in a thin computer. Now the computer appears to be running les hot. Paste is easy to apply. Overall it works, as designed.

My laptop needed to be repasted as the old factory paste had turned into dried up drywall plaster. The factory did a good job pasting but the paste dries up over time and no longer really functions. When you go from dried up paste to new quality paste, it's a huge difference. It fixed my throttling problem, which underclocking didn't, and while running some pretty demanding games, it's 20C cooler than it was. Also the hot spot at the top of the keyboard is noticeably cooler. It's just a little warm there where before, I was surprised the plastic wasn't melting or warping. This paste is more expensive than others but I'd rather spend the extra $10 or so than have to by a replacement laptop ($3500 for an equivalent laptop). Heat is a computer killer.Re-pasting should be done every year or two. This was really easy to use. Kit comes with everything you need. After repasting my CPU and GPU, I still had some left over (1 gm kit). I didn't do any of the dot methods, just applied and used the spatula to spread it out evenly and fairly thick. Since the electrical conductivity of this is 0, you don't have to be quite as careful with preventing it from spreading out all over the computer. I mean, you don't want a mess but it's no where near as complicated as, say, liquid metal. Pretty much down to user error if your laptop gets ruined. There's plenty of youtube videos that show how to do it.I deducted a star on the value for money rating. You could probably get similar results with just about any paste but this one has a higher thermal conductivity which, with a gaming laptop, you need every bit you can get. This is probably overkill for a computer used for word processing, surfing the internet, etc.

I have an older HP desktop with an AMD Ryzen 2700 CPU which is used for gaming. I installed a NZXT Kraken M22 about 6-7 months ago which helped immensely with stabilizing the CPU temp however I overlooked the importance of thermal grease/paste. I installed this Grizzly Kryonaut grease/paste after reading about thermal transfer of a bunch of similar products. To the point, I challenged the CPU operations by playing an intense game (about 3-4 hours of The Hunt Showdown) which typically had my average CPU temp at 64C, now it is averaging 48C. That is a 23% reduction in op temp!!! [Note: Since it is summer, the room temp was 74F.] Great, great product!!!

This stuff is great, but just know, if you're new to building PCs, you don't need it immediately unless your cooler did not come with it pre-installed. One review for example claiming this predict alone made a 23 degree Celsius drop....a total lie. The cooler they claim to have purchased comes with factory installed paste, (Also if you notice their name is a store). But it's really good stuff. And they don't sell you an excessive amount to the point most will be wasted. Seen some companies putting double or even more than triple in a tube. It's really unnecessary unless you're putting it on your cpu, gpu, ram, m.2s, and your brother's and neighbor's, too!

I went from a corsair paste (only thing best buy had on hand) to this because of it's supposed top of the line properties. It is about the same consistency as the corsair paste, but transfers heat much better. It is expensive for a thermal paste, but overall in my completely non scientific testing it dropped my temps quite a bit. I was averaging high 50s to mid 60s peaking at 68 degrees with the corsair paste, and with this I am averaging mid 50s to low 60s and peaking at around 63. That is a 5 degree peak difference but overall the average temps are down quite a bit.
