Textures & Blemishes
- Textures: This scrap may include several different textures with the most common being smooth followed by a handful having pebble grain.
- Blemishes: Pieces may have scars, light spots, or small indents. These can either be desirable as they add to oil tanned aesthetic or displeasing to others who wish to have a clean piece.
Usages
Oil Tanned leather can be used for boots, boot & shoe lacing, belts, straps, vests, wallets, bracelets, cuffs, bands, arm guards, chaps, aprons, book/journal covers, bags, sheaths, and holsters.

I took the seller's suggestion and placed an order for 4lbs for variety, and received three very nice pieces. Shipping cost was only applied twice, so I assume you only get charged for shipping once for up to 2lbs/2orders.Pieces are pictured with a playing card for reference and are sized approximately:35 x 16 inches (rough cut)25 x 22 inches (square cut)23 x 16 inches (square cut)Nice thickness (also pictured)Many others selling scrap leather provide leather for very small projects (at best) or patterning practice for beginners.
