My 13-month-old fits best in this in an 18-24mo. Her bum and thighs are a lot larger than the "average" little girl. But, other reviews say go a size up. If you're not sure, get her normal size and one size up. Then, either return one or keep the smaller if it fits now and keep the larger for when she grows into it. This is cute enough to be disappointed when she grows out of it. And, who knows if it'll still be available at that time?I love that she can wear this in winter with tights, and in the summer without.There are a charcoal-grey pair of knit shorts sewn into this skirt. This is NOT a skort, in case that's solely what you're looking for. I've attached a picture of the shorts color against the deep-black color of Minnie Mouse's head lol. On my phone, the shorts color is exact.But, OMG, this shirt is so beyond cute!I've also attached a picture with my hand on this size, just to give you an idea. I don't have tiny hands. For example, size medium, leather, women's gloves usually are a tiny bit too short in the fingers.
