From the image, I thought I was ordering two windshield clips but when I received the item, it was only one clip. If that would have been clearer to me, I would have ordered the kit with more clips, which would have been a better deal.

I have these types of fasteners on my boat windshield. I took the windshield off to clean under it, and unfortunately, dropped a fastener into the water. Not worth trying to retrieve it in all the mud, so I bought 2 of these, to have one as a spare. Even though it took a little while to get from this seller, I was in no hurry and these were far cheaper than using another seller. I didn't need the flat part with the hole, just the part with the spring. It works really well and looks like the originals that came with boat.
