Relatively easy to install. I used a 3/4 inch drill to make a pilot hole, then a jigsaw to cut out opening. I used masking tape over the cut line to help prevent cracking and heated material build-up. Does not block view (installed very low in windshield). Great idea / alternative to opening windshields.

I added these to a rear SxS windshield that had no vents, installation was easy enough with the right tool's. The mounting screws could be a little longer though.I was worried about the vent opening at high speed..... doesn't happen. Left it close while towing doing roughly 80 mph for a decent distance and it never moved but easy enough to move by hand.Mounted in the middle about shoulder level and the amount of air that goes thru this is enough to not have to take the the rear windshield off in the warmer months.If you have a shield without a vent get these theyre worth the money and the little headache installing
