I have used many reeds in my 75 years. These are better than most. The 2.5 reed is a true 2.5. No need to adjust. As good or better than the "other" orange box reeds that are more expensive. A Pro may want something more specific to the style of music they play.

I TRIED THESE REEDS AND FOUND IT NOT TOO BAD. HOWEVER, I SEEM TO HEAR SOMEWHAT OF INCONSISTENCY PLAYING SOME NOTES.

The first reed out of the box was so warped that it was unusable. My son said it reminded him of a wavy Lays potato chip. He has opened several more of the reeds and so far so good with those. They play fine if they aren't warped, but disappointed that they weren't all in good condition.
