We wanted to return item because wouldn't fit where we needed and it was not a free return, they wanted to charge $10, I wish I knew before I purchased, I would never buy anything I can't return for free, that's why I like using Amazon.

Nice design to hold something other then a Kayak, this is to hard to screw to your wall it includes 2 split plastic boxs to hold the poll unit to the wall, well it doesn't hold the pole if you crack the plastic the entire rack is useless. The screws are to cheep.I went with a item i found on WallMart.com much easier to install and actual holds my 10 foot Kayak with ease.If i could give this item 0 stars i would.

Mine did the exact same thing others had problems with. It broke one arm the first time I tried to hang the kayak. it broke at the weld and the arm fell off. Looks like aluminum or some kind of light pop metal
