Needed a better long reach front brake for my fixed gear bike. The side pull stock brake was crap. The Tektro has about 30% more power. The problem is I do not need a long reach rear caliper.

This is a good brake to be honest, I like it because its so soft when pressing the brakes but the grip of the rubber makes it hydraulic brakes. But the downside of this brake is the hole for your bike brake is so small that the nut at the end of the brake wont fit. So I had to buy a drill bits to make the hole bigger. But overall, its a good brake and worth buying, Thank you!!

Very good breaks for the price.I used these as upgrades on a 1980’s road jog I’m updating to be a more modern bike. I had to modify the mounting holes on the frame a bid to accommodate the modern flush mounting bolts, but these breaks installed great and work phenomenally. 10 times better than the orriginal.They offer great modulation and stopping power.I really like the quick release mechanism, very solid in the closed position and easy to undo.They also look slick on my build, very happy with the purchase, just make sure you order he right size! Took me two try’s *face palm*10/10
