Only had for a few weeks maybe, but already know I made the right choice switching over from the speed cobra 900. I never needed the long board and like to focus on my right foot kick drum patterns, with high hat work. But did enjoy the crap out of that pedal for around 13 years.Still need some double kick chops for sure and this is the right flow for my speed (not super fast)

I bought an electronic drum set off Amazon, along with these kickers. They want to charge me 60 bucks to mail them back. I only paid like 400 to 500 hundred for the kickers. I was going to return everything because the mesh Alasis or whatever kit won't work with it.The actual item is fine, but the return should be paid by amazon or the seller.

For the first 12 years of my drumming life, I played on an Iron Cobra Power Glide double pedal, and my playing was excellent. I had precision, speed, and power when using the pedals. As I started to get further into Metal drumming, I was swayed by the marketing and hype surrounding the Axis Longboard pedals, and decided to make the switch.It took me quite a long time to get used to the Axis pedals, and even once I was used to their feel, response, and lightness, my playing was never the same. I struggled to play as precisely as I used to, and the lightness of the pedals caused me to lack power. I played on these Axis pedals for 8 years. Looking back, I have absolutely no idea why I stuck with them.Fast forward to 2 months ago, and I was absolutely fed up with my playing on the Axis pedals. I decided to purchase the latest version of the Iron Cobra Power Glide pedals, since I had such a great experience using them early on in my drumming life. When they arrived, I spent about 15 minutes setting them up and getting things dialed in, and immediately my playing was transformed back to how it was before I purchased the Axis pedals. The Iron Cobras have such a sublime, smooth feel, the rebound is excellent, and there is a reassuring weight. I cannot believe I didn't purchase the Cobras sooner. 100% recommend, you honestly cannot buy a better pedal for the money.
