This seems to fall between wooden and felt beaters material wise. Solid, but not too soft. I like the bounce back and the attack is great.

Needed a fast replacement that GC did not have. I was replacing the felt version of this beater. I like the response and articulation. It has a lot of attack. Also it fits on any IC shaft including the older ones.
