En años había escuchado opiniones que en general DW sólo era la marca, pero no es así, es calidad, comodidad, este pedal tiene una respuesta excepcional y su construcción es excelente, sin duda vale cada peso invertido porque no volverás a gastar en otro pedal nunca.

I upgraded from the DW 5000 (which I've played for 10+ years) and I'll never look back. Smooth, responsive, extremely customizable, and worth every penny. It's also indestructible: I've had band members drop it on concrete and put it under a ton of other heavy gear, no problem.

Solid . Great feel and response. Adjustments are great . The only thing was the price . But all well built pedals are. I almost returned it after it was delivered because of the price . But I am comfortable with it . Happy I kept it and it comes with a nice bag .

El mejor pedal que he probado, suave, con buena pegada de golpe y buen retorno del resorte. No necesitas un pedal doble.

This is a phenomenal pedal. If you’ve been considering getting one but just haven’t pulled the trigger yet, do it and you won’t be sorry. It’s simplistic yet extremely well engendered. It’s buttery smooth, fairly adjustable and feels great. The one downside to me is a pro to others. The spring assembly is on the inside of the fork. I keep my foot pretty high up on the board and find it a bit cramped and sometimes run into the spring on occasion. But like I said, the spring placement is a con to me but I know it’s a pro to many others who don’t play the exact way I do. Over all a fantastic pedal.

I'm still not ok with most flagship pedals not having an adjustment to allow you to hit the center of your kick. I mean they have adjustments for every other aspect of the pedal but not the hitting the drum in the center part? Idk, I would like that option just like I want the option to adjust the cam or the beater height to find the right feel/sound. Anyways...Update - I have logged many hours using the 9000's, practices, jams, shows. I've clamped it to different kinds of hoops, I've spun the beaters from plastic to felt and back, adjusted the springs, the cam, lubed the chain, sank the spurs into different materials and the following are my observations and experience with them. They are the smoothest pedals I have tried to date and I have tried many. The hoop clamp is great, it clamps well on my flat wooden hoops or the steel hoops with the indented center. The spurs are long enough to dig into your cheap foam mat or sink nicely into a carpet. They seem to be wearing ok, the plastic face on the beaters are starting to peel a bit however, all you can do is alternate your pedals left to right to spread out the harm.Besides that, the most obvious flaw is in the picture I posted. For the sake of the photo I removed my pedals from the kit and staged them on the bench. Notice the pedal on the right, how the pedal board is above the cam. This is something that happens when I play a double bass pattern or even a single left foot kick pattern and immediately after hitting the pedal, remove my foot from the board while its rebounding. Mostly I would be taking my foot off it like that to control the high hats after a double bass chop. Basically the board flops around if you take your foot off it while its rebounding, and it somehow lodges the board above the cam, forcing you to step on it obviously, forcing the parts past eachother and sending the bass drum beater into the skin at a non opportune moment. Its a straight up flaw guys. I've learned to delay taking my left foot of the pedal immediately after hitting it to prevent this but at this price point, at this professional level...Other than that, it is an amazing pedal, very smooth and responsive, has all the adjustments you need. I wont be in the market for single bass drum pedals for the rest of my days. If your only using a single pedal this flaw won't apply to you.

Excellent balance, speed & control especially for advanced techniques. Equal to the performance of the titanium pedals.

This pedal is heavy and solid, but NOT infinitely adjustable as marketed if you are using an old-style roland KD-7 trigger that requires the cam be rotated downward towards the floor.

I've been playing drums in bands for the past 20 years and I've gotta say, this is a fantastic pedal that's worth the money if you're serious about drumming. I had previously been using Pearl's P-2000C (Powershifter Eliminator) and this is noticeably and significantly better. It feels super solid (I've had trouble with wandering kick pedals at long gigs), it hits smoothly, and I love the customizable features. I'm about to go on the road for ~30 shows with Pomplamoose and I'm happy that I'll have this with me.

I'm new to drums, but being an experienced saxophonist I noticed that every drummer who has a good kick drum sound is using a DW pedal. My drummer friends told me just get the 5000, but the 9000 was only $40 more from the seller I used, Long Island Drum Center. (I think I got their last one tho)The 9000 has a ton of adjustments. But the reason I got it was that I didn't see a nylon-strap version of the 5000 on Amazon. I'm not going to be playing death metal or anything so I don't need a chain, and thought the nylon strap might be more sensitive. I have no idea if it is, since I'm a beginner and I don't have the sensitivity yet, but I figure a kick drum pedal is something you want to buy just once, so why not do it right? I splurged on this and a Yamaha 850 hi-hat pedal/stand, and now I'll be going out to try drums listed used on Craigslist. The 9000 is very sturdy and just kicks butt. I'm very happy with its quality and can't wait to play it on an actual drum rather than the cardboard box it came in ;)
