So far it's functioning ok. One of the screws fell out. When I put it back in, I went through the whole unit and tightened all of the screws. You can really tell how these are made much cheaper than the Trick models. Parts are not precisely machined on this. Anyway, after I tightened everything the action was much stiffer and less smooth. I'm gonna go back to it and try some thread lock and slightly looser screws... we'll see. For the money, it's basically the same cost as a new brand name linkage with no ball bearing pivots so I figured it was worth the gamble. If you're worried about wasting the money on this, it's not a waste. The unit functions just fine. But for $100ish more, the Trick unit is easily the way to go

I have been playing professionally since 1969. I use these solid footboard DW that haven’t been made in a very long time. I decided to make the two into a double pedal, I looked into the many available and quite expensive. While I did some machining to modify the connections (I have a machine shop) due to my pedal being so old. This U-Joint works great. I had an old DW U-Joint and it had too much slop. This is an affordable solution.

My DW9000 double kick pedal connector has so much wear and tear from years of metal drumming. The Tuoren connector fit perfectly on my pedal and now my left pedal feels like it’s on its own bass drum. Smooth af and very happy with my purchase. I posted my before and after pictures.3 month later update. Pedal broke and seller won’t replace

I figured I would take a chance on this. Can always return easy to Amazon. The bearing joints feel good enough and smooth with no looseness. But the connection joints don't work on DW or on Tama/pearl universal joints. It's just a round opening with an off-center bolt. It's a big round hole too(too big) and it just won't tighten enough to where it won't sway all around. DW connection is square ,and the rest of pedals are half moon shape. Don't think that the round opening paired with the bolt is going to work with your half moon shaped pedal connection either, it's way too big of an opening. The metal around the opening is too thick to to fit on the Tama master connection. I didn't bother to try with eliminators because it's the same connection as the Tama.
