Pretty basic. I run a G36c and a low-end red dot sight for airsoft. The Picatinny carry handle offers a slight rise, but this riser makes it even better for quick-sighting wearing a facemask. The material is light and the mount holds well. Most of my gear uses hex keys, but this requires a star bit. This isn't a big deal--I just have to carry an extra tool. No problem. The price is fair. A lot of cheaper ones you'll see are plastics and polymers--no good for long-term use.Overall, good riser.

This seems like a decent low-profile way to move your optic over your handguard.I was hoping to use this mount to put a prism sight above my iron sights, and it probably would work for that purpose. Then since this is below the line of sight for iron sights, you can either have them cowitness through a very low profile sight (maybe a red dot) or have a quick-remove ability so that you can take off your optic and use iron sights. However for me, my prism sight's eye relief is not very good, so I think my scope would need to be too far forward to pull it off. Oh well!As for the quality of the mount, it seems fine. There are no threadlocker on the screws so you will probably want to use threadlocker if you are mounting an optic. This seems like a more affordable alternative to the Unity FAST optics mount. Perhaps you can use this to see if you like that setup.

I sidetracked this mount into an odd use that challenges its strength & rigidity. It has held up very well. With a 12" quad rail on an 18" barrel, wanted to mount a bipod as far forward as possible, and still wanted a place to C-clamp the hand guard. This mount ended up inverted at 6 o'clock far forward on the hand guard, cantilevered jutting forward, with the Pic-mount bipod on the forward end. I had concerns I was asking too much of an optics mount with all the leverage a bipod can exert. This has worked out very well. I have had it to the range a couple of times. The bipod and mount are rigid and secure. I have to think that securely mounting an optic would be a breeze.

Works as intended and it solid build. It only gets 4 Stars instead of 5 as it requires a Torx Head bolt instead of the more conventional Allen Head Bolt. They do send a Torx wrench, but if you loose it you have to buy a whole set.

Risers are gaining in popularity with night vision getting cheaper. Having an optic up higher give you clearance to look through both nods and your optic with ease. I wanted to try this budget riser. Here are my thoughts:Pros:- looks just like a Unity riser- mounts solid- works as advertised, gets your optic higherCons:- material is easily scratched and dinged- screws are soft and stripped easilyGreat budget riser for the price. Now keep in mind this is a knockoff of a Unity riser, but this would work great on a .22 or airsoft. With better hardware it would be awesome!

This tactical optics riser is perfect for those optics that need increased height. The bottom is slotted so the bolts clamp on the riser block & the top is a picatinny rail to mount your optic directly on. Sometimes a fixed iron sight will be in the way of an optic and the optic needs to be raised. This device is how you accomplish that. Beautifully powder coated, very nice machined aluminum. All features are perfect for this use. I saw nothing that I did not like about this product. It deserves a solid FIVE STAR review. This is a must for most rifle shooters at a great price.

Very surprised with the quality due to how cheap this is. The value for money deserves more stars than I can give. I use it with my EoTech and my Sig Romeo.. and trust me.. way better.

So this is a knock off riser, and should be treated as much. The mounting plate where the screws thread in is not steel, it's aluminum. Be careful how much you torque it, don't refer to the real product for those details. The packaging on this riser should denote the torque limit, but it does not, lesson learned.
