clip holds belt in place really well. belt is actually elastic but has real tight weave so that is not flimsy. it's not real heavy so it doesn't weigh down pants. worth the cost. easy to adjust if necessary.

I like the function in the front where you can easily open and adjust it so you don't have to fumble around with the belt when having to use the bathroom. I got the black one but I noticed the buckle when used frequently gets all scratched up which should be expected.

I use this for hunting it works awesome easy to adjust stays in place I have bought 2 of them now and both are going strong and 1 of them is over 3 years old

Thick belt, that will support items connected to it. The buckle is heavy duty also. Note, the buckle is large and will probably not fit through most jean's belt loops. The belt can be threaded through the pants belt loops and then through the buckle. Then the belt can be buckled - unbuckled as intented. You will have to un-thread it from the buckle (without separating the two halves) to remove it from your pants. Not a big issue for me.
