I didn't use it. I returned the product because it was included in the pump package. Unfortunately it was not mentioned in the pump description.

I have a Taco 007-F4 circulator which calls for the O-ring gaskets instead of the flat ones. Somebody had previously put a flat gasket between the existing(old) gasket and the flange which eventually caused more leaks. I replaced the O-ring gaskets on both ends and it's working like a champ.

I bought this to go along with the new circulator I purchased. What I didn't realize is that the circulator came with new gaskets. But I can always use a spare.
