Ordered this for my Solo stove Mesa XL. Thought it looked great online. Got the bamboo mat/tray and it looked like someone had clipped the edge with a belt sander as the lip in one spot was mostly gone and full of scratches. So I returned it and got a replacement. Replacement came and looked good. Until I sat it on the table. There was a large curve on the bottom where it either never was flat or where it has been warped. I any case it won’t sit flat on a table. Might not be a HUGE deal if I wasn’t putting an 800 degree burning Solo stove on it. Last thing I need is for that to be unstable. So am now having to make another trip to Amazon to return this and will probably just get a refund as the quantity control seems to be sorely lacking here. Too bad as it does look really nice especially with the stainless steel fire pit.

Looks beautiful and like it specifically made for our Solo Mesa XL. All that's missing is the logo (and a heavier price tag) Great purchase - keeps everything level and chill. ;)

Purchased the 10" one to use with my Tera Flame/Solo Stove S'mores Roaster. I know my roaster is protected from the heat anyway but this is great added protection.

Small and thin piece of wood. Better off using any cutting board or piece of wood laying around. A ceramic or metal trivet would do the job and look nicer.

The "mat" is more like a bamboo platter. The thickness provides plenty of protection from heat for the table underneath. It looks very nice, but I do not think it can be left outdoors without degrading the finish or causing it to delaminate.
