Fits perfectly on my Syos Spark mouthpiece. Only issue is that after playing for about 30 minutes it was a pain to remove from the mouthpiece and reed (maybe the reed expanded due to moisture during playing?), not as easy as unscrewing a traditional ligature. After 35 years playing sax I ALWAYS remove the reed and ligature between sets on my saxes and this makes it unnecessarily difficult.

I wasn’t sure, but I like it. It snug and keeps the reed in place with equal pressure.

I ordered this Syos alto saxophone ligature because I (as a Vine customer) received a Syos alto saxophone mouthpiece. I thought it made sense to have the whole set. But I have a lot of problems with this Syos ligature. First the good things: It fits well on the mouthpiece. It makes assembling the reed easier. It's tight. The sound is good. But this is where it ends. When you place the mouthpiece on the neck, you move the ligature and so the reed. If you try to tune the horn you will get the same result. Because everything is round, it moves. Even if you're trying to correct the angle of the mouthpiece to feel more comfortable playing the horn, you have to be careful or you'll reposition the reed and be out of tune. I tried the ligature also on an Non-Syos mouthpiece. I had big problems to remove it from the mouthpiece, it stuck tight. I took me a while to remove it without destroying the read. So I can't not recommend to use the ligature with a Non-Syos mouthpiece. I like the sound I can create with the mouthpiece and ligature. But I think the handling is difficult and could be improved by another (non round) design. I will try to use a more conventional ligature with the mouthpiece.

Doesn’t fit all but the smallest mouthpieces.
