sounds clean, works well. Comes with a carrying bag and all for travel. I saw a video of a guy beatboxing and recording and really wanted to try, which is why I bought this. It works really nicely and is easy for anyone to pick up

After leaving some bad reviews on other products I wanted to be fair and give a good review to a deserving product. I purchased four Suzuki recorders. They all work very well and are lots of fun. The kids love them and so do the adults. My grandson got two for his birthday along with toy cars and various action figures but to everybody's surprise he just loved his recorder and wouldn’t put it down for hours. Easy to learn and fun to play. Great product at a great price!

My son orders this for school and it doesn't sound good at all. No matter how lightly he blows into it the sound gets high pitched as if he was blowing too hard.

amazing sound. the kids had the dollar store variety and the teacher told them it was not acceptable for their music class. i got them this one and now the notes acually sound like the notes they were meant to be.

Seems to work fine as a recorder. Hard to tell as all recorders are generally being played by grade schoolers and sound like a small pet is being murdered. One thing to note, the black one is not black, it's brown so if you really want black, as my child did, you may be a bit disappointed.

The finish is exceptional at this price and the sound is really good, not as good as a wood recorder but much better than I expected from a plastic recorder.

ljght weight. easy to assemble. i thought this was an alto but its a suprano recorder. and for that, its a fair quality tone. easy and comfortable for a beginner, which i am. i played a b-flat clarionet in school and this is an easy adjustment to start with. a good choice for a starter. mkr. elgin. il.

This has been such a great help to my Autistic Grandson in his speech therapy. He has been unable to talk and they were trying to teach him to blow on something to help his speech. They tried to get him to blow on a harmonica without success. The recorder is working for him. He is having a ball blowing on the recorder. It is the first time he has been able to blow on anything. I bought this Recorder for my daughter because she needed it for school. It is white and that helps because she does no have any classmates with one that color so it would be harder to lose. It came with the stick for cleaning it and a fabric case to keep everything together as well as a string to hand around the neck. Great product and even better price.

the product arrived sometime saturday(possibly while i was still sleeping. the quality is good and sounds good besides a little high pitched shrieking here and there but besides that it's a pretty good quality recorder! i wanted one of this back in my life because it was a requirement to play a recorder when i was in elementary school and i had a great time the three years that i practice playing, now if you excuse me i have some brushing up to go and do!reviewed by,Your friendly neighbor hood kitsune
