Definitely protects the main glass, but I have broken and scratched these covers with minor abuse to the watch. A cover seems to last about a month or two till I some how destroy it. Guess I’m a bit of a clutz.

I’m not always aware at the time, but occasionally I’ll find I’ve done something to damage these protectors. To me they are there to take the hits instead of my Garmin watch. To date it remains unscathed. That’s a win.
