Bought 1 for my Model Y and the screen cracked easily in certain areas. After a few years I got an Model X and decided to give them 2 more chances however, both screens cracked before installation. Maybe a bad batch? Buying elsewhere

The installation was fairly easy. Not the easiest thing but TBF, it's a giant display. Turned off the HVAC as suggested and cleaned that screen with the alcohol wipe AND the microfiber cloth. Save those dust removal stickers because you'll probably need them for this. I suggest when peeling off the backing of the protector, face it down so it doesn't collect any falling dust. I guess this thing is quite the dust magnet, because holy dust bubbles, Batman! It was so filthy after installing, I used all 4 dust removal stickers and still there are bubbles. The perfectionist in me will always see it but my husband prob won't even notice. Still, wish there was a sure way to not have dust bubbles.

Tenía miedo a la instalación, pero el kit de montaje y preparación previa es perfecto, imposible ponerlo mal, eso si, haced una buena limpieza, se me quedó una mota y provocó una burbuja, la quité y perfecto, ya no hay molestos reflejos y no se generan huellas al pulsar, tampoco quita excesivo brillo y se ve muy bien de noche.

In reading some other reviews about bubbles appearing on the screen during the installation, I was hesitant to buy this. Actually, if you take your time and follow the directions it comes out perfectly. It took me about 30 minutes to complete. Not a long time but the end result was worth it. The matte finish is better than the semi gloss factory finish on these screens.

It's matte and does what it says. you still have to clean on occasion but it shows smedges much less than you'd otherwise see. Helps with glare as well. A little bit more but the install kit was helpful.

I really like the screen protector and the matte finish. I read many negative reviews about installation or visibility issues but I’ve had none of that. The installation is super easy but you have to follow the directions to ensure your screen is perfectly clean. If it isn’t well then of course you’ll get bubbles or issues. Once I cleaned the screen through multiple steps, following the instructions, the install was done in about a minute - super easy. The matte finish does take some of the “crispness” from the screen but that is kind of the point - on the positive it doesn’t leave fingerprints, doesn’t glare, and has smooth finish to the touch. Anyway, all that to say that I don’t get the negative reviews - people can’t follow install instructions.

I purchased a new Model X with a huge screen and wanted to make sure it was protected. This screen protector was sent with a template that made installation a breeze. At least with alignment. Removing bubbles was a different story as you have to look at it in many different angles and light to see if all bubbles are gone. I was not sure about the antiglare option prior to installation but it looks nice and is not overly fuzzy as some have reported. I think it's fine especially in direct sunlight. I would recommend and buy again.

I did not purchase this screen protector to protect my screen from scratches, but rather to cut down on the glare and reduce fingerprints. I have PIN to drive enabled so my screen would quickly get covered with fingerprints.To install, I cleaned my screen, turned off HVAC in the car (figured this would cut down on dust circulation), cleaned the screen again, and then followed the installation instructions. The frame is nice - it makes installation quick and easy. I can't imagine being able to properly line up something this big without the use of the frame. After removing the frame I found that there were A TON of bubbles behind the protector, which took quite a while to push out but I did eventually get them all. Unfortunately despite all my prep efforts I still ended up with a tiny speck of something between the protector and the screen, on the right edge just before the screen turns from display to black border. I probably could have let this go and nobody except me would ever notice it, but it really bothered me. A quick Google suggested I could peel up the protector and use a dust sticker against the back of the protector to grab whatever was stuck there. I gave it a shot, using the sticker against both the protector and the screen, being careful not to touch the screen or protector with my finger. Initially it looked like I had actually made things worse because it kind of smudged the adhesive behind the protector, but after smoothing it out again with the provided squeegee, everything looks great and no more tiny bubble! I doubt this would have worked if the speck was further from the edge, but it's worth a shot if you've got one close. So remember, it is very important to spend a lot of time cleaning and checking the screen beforehand, because it is huge and you can easily miss the smallest speck that will lead to a permanent bubble!Now that the protector is on and the bubbles are all worked out, I love it. My finger glides over the screen much more smoothly than before, no glare, and ZERO FINGERPRINTS! As expected there is a very slight reduction in clarity but it won't be an issue. I just increased the brightness a bit and it looks great.
