For $300/shipped I wasn't expecting much, but I'll say I was more than pleased with the quality of the wheels. Out of the box they were true and had no obvious visual defects. I weighed them without skewers and they came in at a combined 1530g - front was 680g and the rear was 850g. It wasn't overly difficult to mount some Conti 4000 tires on the rims. I was able to seat both sides of the beads without tools after letting the tires warm up in the sun.Once mounted on the bike both wheels spun freely and without noticeable bearing drag.I replaced a set of Fulcrum 5 LG wheels, shaving 195g off the bike.Time will tell how well they hold up.Only disappointment was they didn't include any spare spokes. They did, however, include 4 spoke nipples and two valve extenders.5K mile/ 1 year update. So far, so good. Wheels are still mostly round. Front wheel became slightly out of true about 500 miles ago. easy enough to re-true, though.Rear wheel broke a NDS spoke - wasn't readily apparent because the spoke was still inside the nipple, just not under any tension. Replaced it with a non-matching Sapim cx-ray spoke (264mm) and nipple since the stock CN spokes are rather hard to get.More troublesome is the rear bearings are shot - more specifically the two (6902-2RS and 6802-2RS) inside the free hub. Easy enough to source and replace the bearings, but I was expecting slightly more than 5K miles out of them.

One last update 2/18/20-Wheels still going strong. Did a 45 miler yesterday and ride was still smooth. Bombed going down hill at speeds of 32-38mph and I never had any worries. Headed towards the Marina and the pathway has tons of cracks and bumps for at least 3 miles and still no worries. I'm sure I'll have to get them checked out soon like any other wheel. 10/10!UPDATE: Finally had time to do a 25 miler and the wheels were great. I encountered some rough areas on the road and the wheels absorbed everything without any hiccups. There was some slight crosswind and even with 38mm you can feel a little tug. Nothing major (you get used to it). Also, please get some good brake pads for carbon wheels. It makes such a big difference. No squeaking and doesn't leave a streak on the wheels. Will do another update when I do a longer ride.Very impressed with the quality of these wheels and for $300 it’s a bang for your buck so far. Took them to my LBS for installation and the owner was impressed by the quality and weight. Asked him about the skewers and he said they were good and actually weighted less than the Mavic ones that came with the Aksiums I replaced. I also swapped out the brake pads that came stock to some DT Swiss ($45) for better quality and performance. Even though I spent an extra $45 on pads it still doesn’t come close to spending $1,800+ on some Zipps, HED etc.Did a 3 mile test run and everything was smooth and the DT Swiss brakes really compliments the wheels. Will do an update when I do a 15-20 mile test ride.Includes 12 month warranty.
