Fluorocarbon Line
Polyvinylidene Fluoride Single Filament fishing line has a fast sinking speed with no moisture absorption. Nearly invisible in the water and has slightly less stretch than nylon line. Knot strength: 70% of straight strength.
Nylon Line
Polyamide monofilament fishing line has a sinking speed of 1.14 with a moderate amount of stretch to help absorb shock. Diameter and stretch increase with water absorption. Knot strength: 85% of straight strength.
PE/Braided Line
Ultra high strength polyethylene fiber does not absorb moisture giving it minimal stretch. Most line made with this material either suspends or floats in the water. The strength of this line can be 3-3.5x stronger than nylon line.

I bought this thinking I was getting a good price for some decent line. I have now broken off 3 big fish on it. Not sure what the deal is, but I will not be purchasing this again.

Great price for a 660yd Spool of Sunline. For the cost, you won’t be disappointed. Not the best fluorocarbon on the market. I have no issues with it. (14lb)

Spend a few bucks more and get assassin or something else. I tried to save a few bucks buying this but have wasted my money by having to cut out multiple terrible birds nest. This one bird nests and tangles into knots that will not untangle like other lines. I’ll never buy this again. I fish everyday and have dozens of set ups. I am not an amateur fisherman. Do not waste your time with this line.

This flurocarbon is one of the best on the market. handles well for flurocarbon and knot strength is great. I use the 14 lb for spinner baits and weighted texas rigs around light cover.
