Fluorocarbon Line
Polyvinylidene Fluoride Single Filament fishing line has a fast sinking speed with no moisture absorption. Nearly invisible in the water and has slightly less stretch than nylon line. Knot strength: 70% of straight strength.
Nylon Line
Polyamide monofilament fishing line has a sinking speed of 1.14 with a moderate amount of stretch to help absorb shock. Diameter and stretch increase with water absorption. Knot strength: 85% of straight strength.
PE/Braided Line
Ultra high strength polyethylene fiber does not absorb moisture giving it minimal stretch. Most line made with this material either suspends or floats in the water. The strength of this line can be 3-3.5x stronger than nylon line.

This is the only line I use now , not cheap but I notice the difference and that’s all that matters , best deals start at the 600yd price point

Bought the 17lb line to use as a leader. Lost 3 giants because this line breaks at around 10lb. Unless i had a bad batch. Will not buy this product again

Have seriously been going after bass for two years now. Still a newby in my opinion. I have been extremely intimidated to spoil one of baitcasters up with fluorocarbon line. Ive read all the negative reviews regarding fluoro’s difficult manageability issues. It’s also very expensive. Have always used a braid to fluoro leader until now. I fished this line spooled as main line for a 10 hour trip. From the first cast I was in love. I fish from a kayak so I’m swinging at all kinds of weird angles. Some short flipping some long cast as well as some light skipping. The line preformed flawlessly. The sensitivity is impeccable. Had no idea what I was missing. I got snagged a couple times no digging in my spool. All day not even a slight birds nest. Before next weekend I will have spooled all my rods with Sunline Assasin FC with the exception of my top water rod and my flipping & pitching rod. I paired this line with one of my Shimano Curado DC reels on a St Croix Mojo Bass jig and worm rod. I was throwing a Texas rigged 5” senko with 1/8 oz weight. Not a minutes trouble. Don’t say the line cast good because of that DC reel. It helps for sure at least I hope so that why I bought them but those reels will birdsnest in a hurry believe me. Lol. I do take the time to set my reels brakes. I think regarding fluorocarbon lines cast ability that’s where folks go wrong. “Maybe” Anyways, I never write reviews. Reading them can only be based on the situation the person was in before writing the review. At my skill level which is novice at best, If I can do it you my fellow anglers can as well. If my review reaches you and helps the only thing I ask is be safe, catch a toad and introduce someone to fishing. Be safe on the water.

I mainly throw crank baits and have been very impressed with the cast ability of this line. I definitely recommend.

Nothing wrong with the line it’s smooth. I should’ve went with the 14lb though.
