Bought at the end of December and already not working beginning of February. Should last alot longer than a month for the amount of $$ they charge .

I was nervous after reading some of the negative reviews. However, the correct item was shipped and it replaced my dead t5 bulb perfectly. The only negative was that Amazon put it in a larger box with no packing. It's a miracle that it didn't break in shipment.

Although the shipping time was slow (Sep 11 order delv October 9), it was delivered. It was packaged well, so the bulb was intact when received. The bulb works in my T5 fluorescent fixture. It is very bright. I don't know how long it will last; I will update if I remember to do so.

I kept blowing my T5 bulbs so I decided to try the LED replacement. I've had it for about a month now and I love it so far. I think it will definitely be worth the extra cost.

This bulb fits my older Sun Blaster fixture. I'm excited to get new plants under it. If they don't do well I will update review. The light is a good color and very bright.

I like it. Brighter and a better spread. If it lasts as long as it should it will be a worthy upgrade especially if youre already in need of a new bulb.

I've been a Sunblaster fan for many years, close to being an 's' with the word decade...yip that long. I've had basically all of their products over the years CFL, T5HO and now their LED line up of products among their various trays and growing domes. In terms of us giving the best quality light for our growing needs, this brand KNOWS light, very well.This item is the latest of their creations, an LED tube that fits into their stock T5HO fixtures ! I've been waiting for this type of thing but only from Sunblaster because this company gives the proper Kelvin for photosynthesis as well as quality of item without worry.I bought two of these LED conversion tubes and replaced aging T5HO tubes. I grabbed this at $22.95 MSRP so at that price point I feel the value is there. As long as the price is at MSRP I'll continue to buy.The LED tubes were packed well with foam at either end within a cardboard case. They are sold as single tubes so as I needed two, I bought two.There are also 24", 36" and 48" versions of this same product also listed on Amazon.I did some number testing of this new product and got just what I expected, great results. Plants need proper spectrum and a light with proper output. To measure the output we commonly use PAR. So I will measure the PAR of this light at 6", 12", 18" and 24" distances. Some people like to use lux so I will measure that as well however lux is not the best metric in terms of quality of the light for photosynthesis. I'll also measure true wattage used, amps drawn as well as the maximum temperature on the fixture and bulb. To measure PAR I use Apogee quantum sensors. For lux I use my standard and accurate photography lux meter.I will measure a single fixture at center.PAR6" ( 328 PAR ), 12" ( 107.5 PAR ), 18" ( 47.5 PAR ), 24" ( 26.5 PAR )and finally lux6" ( 24800 lux ), 12" ( 8700 lux ), 18" ( 3900 lux ), 24" ( 2260 lux )I get a draw of only 0.13A. For wattage this tube runs at a mere 13 watts. Maximum temperature for a 2 hour on period was only 35.2c. The very reasonable temperature is great as it allows me to have this light only a few inches away from the plant to get that nice PAR reading on the leaf.For lights such as this I commonly have them in a bank of 2- 4 lights wide and being anywhere from 2-4 inches apart. This I find gives light to more leaf structure which are at different angles than just a straight up and down 90 degrees.Maximum light to maximum leaf area will give maximum growth yield, as simple as that.I highly recommend this LED conversion tube.Helpful, is how I hope you find my review
