These poles are very heavy duty. They came well packaged in a box and wrapped in bubble wrap and plastic. The spot welding looks good in my unprofessionaI opinion. I will feel very secure putting my shade sails on these poles. It came with concrete anchors, but I will install them on a wood deck. I put two pieces together to see how they fit. I gave one end a few bangs on a carpeted floor, but they did seat all the way in. It looks like it needs to go in another 3/4 of an inch gap I'm a little gal, so someone stronger may be able to seat them the rest of the way. It is still in there pretty tight because I could not get them back apart. Once you put them together, I don't think you can get them apart. In case it matters, f you can't get them to seat all the way in, like myself, the pole will be a little taller than 9ft, by an inch or so. Price is reasonable for the quality you are getting.

I got this item to mount a solar flood light and camera. The base is solid and sturdy. It does come with masonry hardware to secure it otherwise you would need an alternative method to secure it. I did have trouble getting each piece all of the way to match flush but despite that the pieces are snugly joined! It’s extremely easy to put together. The 9 foot height is perfect. The matte black finish looks great.

The product includes the three pole sections, four concrete anchors, and a carabiner. The pole is a little difficult to assemble, but it is going nowhere once it is. However, the product description mentions it can be anchored to things other than concrete like soil, and that is not true, it will be nowhere within the same league of durability and weather resistance that it would if anchored in a concrete slab.Overall, it is a durable steel pole and it works well for its intended purpose as a sunshade holder, need at least two to make it useful unless using one of those triangle shaped ones that is anchored to the side of structure.

It’s okay. It was super hard to get it pushed together and the installation was a little tricky. Wish it came with the option as just a weighted base. Size is nice.

Heavy and solid. I don't have it set up yet because of the weather but it should do the job well. High quality! I will update this if there are any problems after it is set up.

This pole came in 4 pieces that fit into each other. They come with some heavy duty cement anchors and some great welded on hooks for sails. My sails are large, 16x20 rectangular and one of my posts is a 4x4. I have had it for 2 seasons and although I remove the sails during high winds, I do not feel comfortable about my wooden post. This new post will do a great job. I have a good concrete base, so drilling 4 holes to install the anchors will be a simple task. I feel that the posts will work well and hold tension much better than my 4x4. Good quality and strong steel.

The coating on this pole is thick and after I tamped the three pieces together, the pole was super solid. All the anchoring fasteners seem fine, but I chose to use guy wires instead.

Needed a method to attach a shade sail over part of our deck due to constant sun exposure. Unfortunately due to design, one end of the shade had no structure to attach to. I saw this and figured it fit the bill perfectly. Easy installation along with decent aesthetics. And allows the shade attachment high enough to clear pedestrian deck traffic. Nice resolution. Would also make a great anchor point for string lighting, or similar.
