We installed this oven in our outdoor kitchen and it is awesome. Very well built, bold look and great design. It does take a while to heat up even though we use propane. They can be converted easily. I am struggling with the stater but it is easy to light with a. Long lighter. This is a great addition to our outdoor space.

The instructions seem to be missing steps on assembly. Otherwise, it’s a great addition to our outdoor kitchen.

Although the Summerset Grill was advertised as a Natural Gas configured oven, the installation was far from a 'turnkey' set up. It came equipped with a regulator and hose for a liquid propane set up. For the natural gas conversion the instructions show how to adjust the orifice at burner for NG but that's it! I needed to purchase a natural gas regulator and hose at the hardware store outside the product catalog. The instructions do not cover how to hook up the oven from the burner to the gas line. I ended up hiring a plumber to insure a safe installation. The oven performs as advertised but the installation was not 'natural gas ready'..

I installed natural gas line in size and pressure greater than required. Would never heat more than 350. I called the tech dept. and they said because of UL requirements they could not damper down the chimney. I will install a damper my self and I'm confident that will take care of the problem. I tested oven in 98 degree weather in Phoenix. The tech assured me that they used a infrared thermometer on the hot plate and it reached 700 degrees in spite of what the temp gauge shows on the oven. We will see.

It’s hard to review the oven fully because mine was delivered broken. The pizza oven came in poorly assembled. The rivets that holds the backplate to the frame of the oven has a gap of around 1/8” so it lets out the hot air. The unit takes extra long to heat up and does not reach as high of temperature as a sealed unit would. Key to a great pizza, the higher the temp the better. After being on the phone on and off for a month with this company they now say they won’t have it fixed, because I have now used it. We were in discussion if they will send a guy or if I hire someone to fix it and now they’re coming back saying they won’t fix it because I’ve used it and that it happened during the install. There’s no install!!!! You lift it out of the box and put it onto a counter. In all these discussion I’ve found out, this is NOT an American unit made in Huntington Beach, California. These units are made and assembled in China. The reseller is in Huntington Beach. As most product that are stainless steel and come from China, that I’ve bought, they start to rust. This is too new and it does come with a cover so no rust yet but I’ll let you know. They offered and sent me “free” pizza stones, now they offered me another free cover.. I just want a hot pizza oven!!!!! I want the issue fixed. Up to this point they have been an okey company to deal with until I got the estimate to fix it, which would be $150. I asked them to send one of their guys but I live 1-1.5 hour away from them. I can’t believe that say it’s due to the install!!!! All you do is lift it out of the box and put it on the counter!!! It tells you a lot about them. Otherwise I’m sure this is a good unit, looks good.
