It seems all leadcore is the same. Suffix Leadcore suffices. It meets my needs whether I’m trolling for stripers, trout , or summer crappie. Just don't let it twist. I recommend using a swivel when you connect your leader. If not possible to use a swivel just make sure your line comes off and goes back on the reel straight avoiding loops or twists. If you get a loop or twist the lead will break and the line will weaken at that section. Avoid this scenario and Suffix Leadcore will meet your needs.

as of yet i have only used this on one salmon outing, and had an 8Lb Coho hit it as we were putting out the rest of the lines. Lead core acts differently in the water which you can see in the rod tip before putting on planer boards, and i have been told this can cause fish to strike. i have been told not to clip planer boards directly to this, but as of right now i am until i can figure out a way to protect it or add mono between some of the colors. if you do clip your boards to it learn from me find away to attach the planner to your line encase the clips come off the line, when the Coho hit it dragged the board under water and it came off, luckily we were able to keep and eye on it while the fish was brought in and were able to go back and retrieve it.

I prefer Suffix 832. The line of the performance stays ontop of the water for a longer distance, than the 832. With all the boats on the lake, I need a leadcore that drops down into the water quickly, while trolling. Otherwise. so far, so good.
