I haven't had a chance to use this till now, and it's been with my tackle for well over a year, maybe more.Typically I like to buy spools of line and use them right away because it seems like they coil more from memory (may not be factual for everyone, just my experience).I just spooled both of my 6500's this morning, one with this, and one with BPS Offshore Angler. Both spools are roughly the same age, and the Offshore Angler was super coiled and stiff. The Suffix was a little coiled, but nothing that a few tight lines and a little reel magic won't take care of. And, the Suffix laid on the spool way nicer than the Offshore.I know that the BPS brand is not as supple as some others, but what a difference between the two. I've never had an issue with the Offshore as far as backlash or break offs, that's why I continued to use it, but it's always been kinda stiff. I'm hoping for the same performance with this stuff.I haven't tried to pull the Suffix out of a snag yet, but it palomar's and snell's nice.

I used this line bass fishing. My eyes aren’t what they used to be so I need something highly visible. This REALLY fits the bill. I usually use trilene xl for smooth casting. I thought I would give this a try. It did cast very smooth for 17 lb test. No birds nesting. Highly visible by day or night with black light. Incredibly strong. Got hung up under a rock in about 16 feet of water and it would NOT break. I finally had to cut it. So far it is doing exactly what I bought it for. I’ll try and remember to follow up again in a few months. *** Ok, two weeks ago I got hung on brush in about 14 feet of water. Couldn’t break the stuff and had to cut it. Last night, broke 3 times and once was on a fish. Very disappointed. ***. Respelled every reel with Trilene XL ***

Suffix makes the best fishing line out there in my opinion and I have fished with most of them. It's incredibly strong for its diameter. I actually tested some suffix 4lb test against two other name brand 8lb test option and the suffix held up better than both of them at half the rating. This 17lb test is no different. Spooled up on a baitcaster it will yank even the biggest bass out of thick cover. Suffix also casts extremely well and holds any knot used unlike other line options. I run over 20 rods for walleye, steelhead and salmon and every single one of them is lined with suffix elite. I completely quit using braid since going with this and have never been disappointed.

This is the best line you can buy. Holds up well, very sensitive and very strong. Good with all types of lures, also it’s cheaper on Amazon than most stores.

Great price. Although I have to buy three at a time but it comes to about 25% cheaper than buying it at the store. And it doesn't kink much either as it claims, which is the opinions from myself and my brother. Good product

Have used Sufix brand fishing line before and no problems. It is as good as any other monofilament line. I personally find the Lo-Vis Green color seems to work best in the area I fish in but it may differ for you. Line seems fairly resistant to breakage and scuffing but will eventually need replacement as it ages through water and sun exposure etc, but it is a good quality monofilament line for general lake or estuary/bay fishing.
