I've been using these as part of a couple of all-in-one microphone stand setups. They really help to keep things compact on a tight stage and make it so that I don't have to carry a separate guitar stand. The hanger is sturdy and stows easily as part of my kit. I'm giving it a four-star rating because the plastic cap on the end of the clamping screw is not up to the task and fails with time. I've replaced one that failed with a couple of 1/4-20 nuts jammed together....It works, but isn't pretty and shouldn't be necessary.

Immediate attachment to black stand = immediate scratch to coating. The clamp would work better with the paddle bolt in the product picture, not with what you get. However, I used the yolk with another pro-level clamp(zoom) that has many threaded attachments holes, so in net, This adapted setup is fine, and I will employ the included clamp elsewhere. Lost a star for product deception and another for scratching my beloved, generational, one of a kind, Greco-Roman, made-from-meteor-metal music stand.

I like it. Maybe one day, they will come out with even stronger system to secure to the mic stand pole.

Greetings. I have essentially only used this once... and on a collapsible music stand. The product exceeded by needs and expectations. Unless there is something intrinsic to the pole you will be mounting it to, be sure to spend some time verifying the clamp... you don't want it to slip and damage your guitar. Hopefully helpful.

This is easy to put on and adjust the height. I use several of these for different instruments such as: bass, guitar, violin, and mandolin. These fit well on mic stands, music stands and any suitable pipe that is 1" or less diameter.

I bought this so I can have my uke next to my couch at all times. I attached this to a TV speaker stand. It would also work on a lamp stand. This size is perfect for ukuleles. This was easy to assemble and attach. Now whenever I am bored, I can reach over and grab my uke.
