We just received these about 2 hours ago. They were easy to install, as all you have to do is drop them in the sides, and expand them fill the stove to the back. I was surprised that they have to cover the counter as opposed to covering the stove top. All of the photos that I saw did not show an expanded rim on the countertops themselves, so perhaps our front control slide in makes the fit and position different.It feels like a lighter weight durable metal hybrid material, and it is easy to pick up. One negative is irs ability to slide when it is slightly bumped. Another is the obvious point of convertible separation, as it looks a bit off. The last negative is the obvious irregularities of my countertop; this causes a couple of tiny gaps that could allow crumbs to fall.The value is okay, but it could be slightly less expensive considering the material. But, custom inserts would be too much more expensive.

In my setup, I put the long edge on the counter, and was pleased that these don't take up too much space. The push-out tabs that hold the items in place do what they're meant to, but make sure you figure out what you're doing BEFORE using them ... once you bend them and place the gap covers, they are not very easy to get back out again.

I’m honestly so glad I got these stove gap covers! They fit perfectly between my stove and the counter and it adjusts out to a very long length so there is no way they could be too short. They feel pretty sturdy and they look sleek when installed, plus they help keep all the crumbs and food from falling into the gap, which used to drive me crazy! I was worried they’d get hot near the stove, but they’re heat-resistant, so no issues there. Cleaning is super easy too — just wipe them down and they look brand new. Also, the black color works really well if you have a black stove and greyish marble counter tops. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
