So glad I bought this model. Sturdy, good looking, and works perfectly. Moreover, the height, 9", is perfect for natural function.

Do NOT buy this item.It is not the same color as the product photos. The screws are cheap and broke as I was screwing them in. The wood split. It's just a mess and certainly not worth $42.

I love this, it’s very stylish looking however I wish that the logo wasn’t so prominent but that’s just me. I highly recommend putting together loosely first then tightening after all pieces are in place upon assembly.

I am happy with the product, although it is a little spacious. Easy to assemble. The only thing I was that it arrived in it original box and NO WRAPPING. The box arrived at my house broken and ripped in the corners, and for everyone to see my purchase.I feel like the company could be more professional and give it a proper wrapping before sending it to their clients.

We bought the bamboo flip squatty potty but didn’t like the sloped surface. The angle was just awkward. This one has a flat top. Beautiful wood, sturdy, compact. Perfect! We had been using a regular stool but it was always in the way when you didn’t need it. Love this one.

I have tile “wood” floors in my bathroom and it looks great. Elegant design that tucks up nicely out of the way. True bamboo color, so a lighter brown, but not like pine or oak. And it’s super sturdy. We have a comfort height toilet (the taller one) and bought the 7”. At 5’ 8” and 5’ 10”, the height is perfect. The 9” would require a gymnast to use it!! Makes “going” easier on a tough day. And it was half the price of the comparable squatty potty!!

I like the stool, it fits nicely under the toilet, goes back further than I expected and I'm pleased about that. It's easy to assemble and I like the bamboo, it is not the color you see in this picture though, it's a bit lighter. The only thing I did not like was the price, the quality is good, but in my opinion, a little pricey.

I bought this for my father who was going through radiation/chemo and was having great difficulties going. If you don't go you can go septic and die (and no, that is not being overly dramatic), so when he was having great difficulties and medicine/milk of magnesia, diet changes etc just werent adequately working, I had this next day shipped. 4 months later he is recovering from surgery and chances are looking good that he may be cured. He told me that this was the best gift you could give a cancer patient suffering the symptoms he had. Now that he is used to it even after he recovers he said he would still use it because it makes going easier. He is a doctor himself, and has been very curious (and obviously very frightened) seeing things from the other side noting things he wished he could have told his patients but just didn't know. This is one of those items he shared with his doctors that he thought should be an upfront recommendation. It won't solve all the discomfort, backup etc... but it does make going tremendously easier and less painful and may reduce the need for using fleets or magnesium sorbate. There are less expensive ones out there that i have little doubt work just as well, but this one looks nice, was easy to assemble and is light weight.

You wouldn't think something so simple could be so effective. I only use it when I'm having real difficulty and it works brilliantly. There are several squatting stools on the market but all the others will make your lavatory look nothing short of institutional. This one is very smart, a discreet and smart piece of furniture, sturdy and really easy to assemble.

I admit, I was skeptical, but decided to give it a try after seeing plastic ones all over town. However, I wanted something that looked good in my bathroom and didn't want it to look like we had a toddler running around so I opted to buy this bamboo one. The cost is considerably higher for this product as compared to the plastic ones, which my husband kindly pointed out while walking through a store the other day. I'm not totally convinced having put it together upon arrival that this is pure bamboo, it looks more like a bamboo laminate and does require some assembly upon arrival to attach the legs. It's very nice looking and it's solid and sturdy. My husband was an even bigger skeptic and mocked me when he first saw it. He suffers from IBS so he spends a fair amount of time on the throne so it wasn't long before I caught him using it. We wish they sold a 5" stool, my husband is 6' tall and over 200lbs and I'm 5'8" and we sometimes feel like our knees are in our chest. I bought the 7", I can't imagine using the 9" being as tall as we are, lol. After several weeks of use we're believers, even my super skeptical husband LOVES this stool and it has helped a ton with his IBS (now he just has to stop eating dairy products, lol). Both of us have less stressful movements and will absolutely continue to use this stool for years to come.

Let's face it, squatting is the most natural way to "do the doo"!There are a ton of "toilet stools" on the market and most get the job done, but few do it with the style and quality of the Step and Go Bamboo stool!WHICH HEIGHT TO CHOOSE?- If you have shorter legs (i.e. 31" or shorter inseam) and are fairly flexible in the hips, you may wish to start with the 9" stool.- If you have longer legs (i.e. 32" or longer inseam), have shorter legs with limited hip flexibility or are a larger person in general, you should start with the 7" stool.- If you are tall with very long legs (34" inseam or longer), consider finding an even shorter option in the 4"-5" range to start. I'm 6'4" with a 34" inseam and my leg angle using a shorter 4" stool is the same as my much shorter wife's leg angle using a 7" stool (she is 5'5" and has a 31" inseam).SPECIAL NOTE: If you have shorter legs, but your spouse/significant other has longer legs, be kind to them and go with the 7" stool to start! It's a great compromise for most people.Besides looking better in the home than ANY of the less expensive plastic stools on the market, the bamboo Step and Go is also a better design than its main competitor, the wooden Squatty Potty!Although the bamboo Squatty Potty is about the same price and can be adjusted to two heights (essentially making it 2 stools in 1), unless you're using the tallest setting, the legs on the sides of the Squatty Potty protrude above the top platform, limiting foot placement. Because the top of the Step and Go is completely flat, it yields far more flexibility in movement and foot placement (if you're a bigger person, have bigger feet and/or wish to spread your legs a bit, you'll definitely prefer the Step and Go!).You do have to put this stool together yourself and it takes about 10 minutes to build. That said, the pieces fit together very well and the quality of the bamboo is top notch! If you're looking for a toilet stool that won't scare house guests away, offers the broadest range of comfort and will hold up to years of use, you really can't beat the Step and Go!Highly recommended!P.S.- It took a lot of bravery to post a picture of my bathroom on the internet! :)
